Boutique Hotel Couleurs Suds

It was like staying at a good buddy's house. David, the hotel owner who actually does everything for the guests, was always present to help out with anything and everything - he even threw in a few surprises related to the Cannes Film Festival! David provided advice on where to eat, what to do, how to get there, and of course, he took care of everything from check-in to check-out. It is a small quaint boutique hotel with a lot of charm. Not your typical standardized, sterile chain hotel experience, but one that suits the ambiance of the area perfectly - a seaside resort, near the port and Old Cannes. You can't beat the location, just seconds from the port with its great cafes/restaurants, lovely sandy beaches and just opposite a pleasant green park. You can also easily walk to the "Croissette" in minutes while taking in some great sights along the way (impressive yachts, lively beach clubs, stunning architecture...) - a really top location! Hotel rooms were spacious, clean as a whistle and well appointed. The air conditioner, when needed, worked perfectly. It was an awesome stay at Hotel Couleurs du Sud, but what made it the greatest was the warmth and generous hospitality of its owner, David.

David is a fantastic host, and the hotel is perfect for those looking o be in Cannes (for the fest or to tour) and needs a clean safe place to just sleep. Many Thanks David, see you next year!

I’m afraid I found this hotel extremely disappointing - particularly having paid an expensive rate. The location is fine, but the hotel itself is pretty shabby. Dated and tired decor. Everything looks and feels dingy and grim. The bed and pillows were firm to the point of being uncomfortable. The super-cheap toiletries (tiniest bar of soap and single shampoo sachet) were pretty pathetic. The rooms are small and the walls are thin. On two of the three nights I was woken by other guests returning in the early hours. The air conditioning worked, but the controller’s display was broken so it was all guesswork. Other features: Broken and damaged curtain and towel rails, a crumbling lintel above the shutters to the outside, and a single paper cup with two sachets of coffee which were not replaced during my stay. I feel bad leaving a negative review as David the owner was very welcoming. But I’m afraid I must recommend that you avoid this hotel.

Fantastic welcome and helpfulness from David, the owner, and his staff. David also gave me an invitation to a red carpet on the Cannes Film Festival occasion. I definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for everything David!

This was a great eco-friendly apar**ent completely sustainable. The rooms are quaint and perfectly decorated. I cannot say enough about the location, the place is a real bargain and the location is just excellent..Can’t wait to return.

the staff are very friendly and helpful they were willing to support and help me and recommended me where to go what to do around the city. The room I booked was very nice and clean. I highly recommend it!

There are nice people and the hotel is amazing. It's very close to the beach and the landscape is very beautiful. It is a MUST to stay theee for a couple of days. You won't regret at all because it's very friendly!!! 😍 😍 😍

J’aime beaucoup ce petit hôtel plein de charme, l’accueil y est personnalisé, son emplacement est incroyable, que quelques mètres a faire pour avoir les pieds dans l’eau ou bien déguster une belle salade avec vue mer. Je recommande vivement mais pensez à réserver.

Charmant hôtel, très propre et très agréable, avec un emplacement idéal en face de la plage, des commerces, des restaurants L’accueil a été parfait.j’y ai passé un très bon séjour. À recommander Sans hésitation.
