Hotel Marconi

The hotel itself is in a lovely location at the quieter end of Benidorm. If you manage to get a room with a sea view, you are in luck, if you get a room with a 'courtyard view', it's more like you have skipped the court process and gone straight to prison...(Photo attached). The hotel is dated but clean, and the food is average at best. The beds are comfy although you get two single beds.

First off ignore bad reviews, Here at the min , location is awsome , bang on the beach , small family run hotel that is very very clean , Lovly staff , we are bed n breakfast great selection every morning, cooked , cold meats , cereal , fruits , pastries. Roof top area has the best views in town , pool is small ( more of a splash pool) Make time to explore the old town , loads of tapas bars , little pubs etc We WILL be back

The room actually did have comfy beds which is the only positive I can say about this hotel. I attended with a friend to run Benidorm half marathon, which, having a good bed was actually a huge plus. However, the ‘food’ was largely inedible and made with the cheapest ingredients possible. The ‘buffet’ selection was tiny and no good for vegetarians, vegans, or in my case, people with allergies. The ‘restaurant’ was like being in a school canteen. No furnishings or personality, and VERY cold. The clientele were largely 70+ and it felt like a very cold retirement home. The view from our room was of a semi naked old fella opposite who we could’ve touched - the balconies were so close. When I raised my concerns with the staff, they were extremely rude and unhelpful and basically told me to like it or lump it. I requested a partial refund due to the fact that they were unable/unwilling to provide me with any food, but I was told ‘your request is meaningless’ I therefore left an official complaint. I doubt I will ever hear anything from them, but I hope I can help someone else avoid being ripped off by this awful hotel.

The brandy and coffee was perfect and the gintonic was fab! We will return to see you soon!love your drinks and your attitude ! Very much an older spanish holiday maker hotel BUT we were made very welcome in the bar. Suzy was great fun and made fabulous gintonic with blood orange for 5 euros and great coffee with generous brandy for 3 euros 70 cents !

Basic rooms -- dated decor, no fridge, no kettle, paper-thin walls you can hear the neighbours coughing all day. And you know what reception said - you will hear a lot of snoring🤣what a legend. Anyways, awful food -- poor choices, cold meals, the cheapest ingredients, unhealthy carbs on and on and on. No choice of fresh salads, just iceberg??! Often no omelette for breakfast. Kitchen staff were rude and unhelpful, Don't sit here, Don't sit there...! I think her name is Susanna, what a crazy woman..! Don't buy any food option, just the accommodation is fine if you need a prison hotel on the beach🤦🏻‍♂️🤣Eat out instead, plenty of good places nearby. Hotel Macaroni is mainly for elderly Spanish people so if you're 70+ that's your hotel. Honestly, not worth the money, should pay you to stay there 👎

RUDE STUFF. Especially in buffet area . They must be trained how to behave with guests . AWFUL FOOD . So poor choice and cheap ingredients, cold meals . In Spain no tomatoes and cucumbers at breakfast, even no omelettes. Poor Walls between the rooms are him all time hearing the coughing of other people . Rooms are not so clean . Don’t go there if you’re not above 70 . As the all guests in the hotel just above this age . Not recommended!!!!

A superb nicely located hotel near the main train station in Milan (10 minute walk. The hotel with its marble floors and bathroom is and was breathing a 50s atmosphere, missing from all the modern hotels we stayed at in the past; and: We loved it! The breakfast buffet was great and tasty, and a variety of breads, cereals and fresh juices and fruits were more than enough to keep us going for the day exploring the city center of Milan. The room was nicely furnished so was the bathroom. Too bad the hotel roof top bar was closed.

Staff were lovely and friendly, the hotel was beautifully clean. Plenty of options for breakfast and perfect location. Pool was lovely and not overcrowded. Beautiful Seaview room.and the beds were super comfy. It was just a very short walk to town and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.

An overnight visit to Benidorm. Chose this hotel because it was close to, but not in, the old town and the many bars and restaurants there. Great location right on the beach. The hotel is not large, only around 50 rooms. The room we had was clean, tidy and had a side sea view from a narrow balcony. There are other rooms with large sea facing balconies as well. The hotel has a fabulous roof terrace which was sun drenched, and a small pool. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. There is also live music on a Friday evening.
