We arrived at lobby at 4.45pm, but the room still not ready yet. Waited till 5.30pm and request to change the room. The carpark is full as theres an event at the hotel, so i need to park far from hotel. Other thn that, everything is satisfying👍

Overall our 4nights stay at Olive Tree Hotel Penang was very good but not spectacular. We do appreciate the free parking for guests at their multi-storey carpark and the convenience of the location being walking distance to lots of cafes, restaurants and etc within Bayan Baru. Our room did not come with breakfast so we can't comment on that although we do see a lot of people having breakfast during our stay. Their food offerings at the restaurant was great too and reasonably priced. Our room was super spacious and very comfortable and was the highlight of the hotel for sure. Unfortunately during our stay over Christmas, there were lots of things being fixed (which is a positive for future guests) but it didn't affect us that much. Once again very good hotel but not spectacular.

Check in process is extremely slow Not willing to provide 2nd room access card for the guest Fitness room Aircon was not working

Hotel is clean. Location near airport. However traffic is bad during morning and evening peak hour due to nearby factory around. Nearest mall is queenbay which need 10mins grab.

So far everything is good~ location wise near to airport and breakfast good!

Overall staying experience is very good, but the breakfast is not really good, not so much selection.

I booked two twin rooms, Location is very strategic, easy access from airport and has plenty of shops near by; clean room and toilet. Electricity sockets near both side of the bed. One thing that I don’t like is the parking area,and narrow turning lanes which a bit dangerous and upon check out, you needed to pay 💰 for the heritage fees!

Very good location if next morning you need to rush to airport . Good hotel with clearn and friendly staff. overall very satify .

Very good choice if you have early morning flight next day . Less than 10mins ride from hotel to airport. Spice pisa cafe/hawker within 10mins walking distance from hotel. Great location
