TTài khoản kháchI was very disappointed with my stay. There was a strong and unpleasant smell of sewage in the rooms, which could also be detected from the hallway, even 10 meters away. I was on the 5th floor, and despite the hotel’s reputation, this was not what I expected.
Additionally, loud music from a nearby bar or restaurant continued until midnight, making it very difficult to sleep. I had to keep the window open due to the smell, and so did my colleague in the neighboring room — but with nighttime temperatures around 8–9°C, the room was uncomfortably cold.
Overall, the experience fell far below expectations for a hotel with such a good name.

TTài khoản kháchWe had a lovely stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room was a good size — very pleasant and well kept. We were quite happy with the overall experience.
Breakfast could be improved, as there weren’t many healthy options available. Most of the choices were heavier, American-style dishes, so a bit more variety would make a nice difference.
It would also be great if the room cleaning were a bit more thorough each day, rather than just making the bed and changing towels. When guests pay for a hotel stay, consistent quality and attention to detail are always appreciated.

MMCUZZAOur stay at the Mercure Bucharest was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable.
A special mention goes to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed.
The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing.
The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

TTài khoản kháchI cannot fault this hotel. So perfectly situated without being noisy, lovely staff, fantastic and varied breakfast (with excellent coffee), a well appointed gym, spotless and spacious. Thank you for making a solo female traveller happy, well fed and safe.

NNoi ChaOur stay at the Continental Hotel in Bucharest was mostly pleasant and comfortable. The hotel itself is well-maintained, offering a great ambiance and excellent amenities. The food served at the restaurant was delicious, and the restaurant staff were warm, accommodating, and attentive to our needs.
However, our experience at check-in left something to be desired. The female front desk staff member we interacted with was not particularly helpful. When we asked if the tap water was safe to drink, her response was dismissive, stating she didn’t know and suggesting we purchase water from the hotel instead. Similarly, when we inquired about the possibility of an early breakfast due to our early departure for a day trip to Peles Castle, she was uncooperative and rigid, insisting breakfast was strictly served at 6:30 AM.
Thankfully, the restaurant staff went above and beyond. When we arrived at 6:15 AM, they graciously opened the doors early and welcomed us, allowing us to grab some food before we left. Their professionalism and kindness turned around what could have been a frustrating situation.

TTài khoản kháchLocation of hotel is good, right near Old Town, room size is fine, breakfast standard European breakfast, hotel has no restaurant of its own but there are restaurants near by plus convenience stores across the street. The one single issue is the WiFi at the hotel is really bad; however, when I brought this matter up at the front desk, the gentleman at the Reception was kind enough to lend me a router, and the issue was resolved.
