Khách sạn Suối nước nóng tại Tỉnh Niigata, Nhật Bản

The hotel itself was nice, but the staff at the ski resort was horrible, the rentals are also not well maintained. The boards are not waxed, which makes it difficult to work with as there are a lot of flat routes which are difficult to avoid (Pony and village road were the flattest slope Ive ever seen in my life, I had to unstrap and walk and the board just wouldn't move). Ski resort staff were unfriendly and the rental staff was the worst, there was a lady there that was cold and rude. The only reason why the rental shop is surviving is probably because the equipments are salomon branded and that there is no other option.  I would visit again but only because the routes are fun, Myoko long run was the best, but I would never want to rent from the shop again. The food was very very good. For breakfast, you could choose from western or Japanese buffet. Western buffet is highly recommended, the omelette was the best ive eaten in my life and there was a diy risotto which was great as well. For dinner, there were 4 options, either buffet, steak, Japanese or shabushabu. All requiring reservations which is tough if you are checking in the evening as some might not be available. Highly recommend the steak, the food was good and the staff were amazing. Japanese was the hardest to get a reservation for but the food was quite underwhelming. The room was clean and ski lockers are also provided but it's tiny and can barely fit 2 boards. But I wish that in the toilet in the common area, you can adjust the tap temperature as the water is freezing cold. Amenities wise, bottled water are provided daily, also, yukata was provided but you can only wear them to the onsen which was extremely troublesome as I had to change multiple times a day.  The hotel provides shuttle bus services to and fro jyoetsumyoko station which was easy to book. The bus drivers were also friendly and helped out with the luggage. In summary, for a 5 stars hotel, it didn't live up to expectations, ski resort and rental staffs were unwilling to help and unfriendly. Also, some of the staffs could not speak Japanese which is puzzling for a hotel in Japan. If not for the amazing snow and slopes I would never come back.

I’m giving my honest opinion. This is my first unsatisfied review for a hotel room. I was very disappointed by the room for the price I paid. I paid more for this room than what I paid for luxury upscaled room near Tokyo Disney. The photos online were very deceiving. When I entered my room, it was gross, i cringed, and my toes curled. I didn’t want to put my belongings down. The carpet was old and disgusting. The pull out couch bed was gross. There were stains on the couch back rest and the mattress. The sheet for the mattress was too small it didn’t cover the stained mattress. The beds were hard and didn’t feel clean. The shower curtain had a bad odor. The room was very dated. Since this hotel is pretty secluded and other hotels were booked we had to make do. I’m glad we only stayed one night. On a better note, the staff were very friendly and service was great. Location for skiing was amazing, and the free shuttle bus was fabulous. Naeba Prince Hotel really need to do better with their rooms. I was looking forward to bringing my entire family of 14 to stay a few nights next year, but after seeing the rooms, I will not stay here again unless they renovate their rooms which are in dire need of upgrades.

Cá nhân tôi thấy phong cảnh của suối nước nóng nam đẹp hơn vào ban đêm. Nhân viên nhớ họ của mọi khách hàng khi nhận phòng, đây có thể là lợi thế của những khách sạn nhỏ. Tôi đã có một cuộc trò chuyện tuyệt vời với một chị người Nhật trong khi tắm suối nước nóng. Chúng tôi cũng trò chuyện ở hành lang khi gặp nhau vào ngày hôm sau. Khi tôi trả phòng, nhân viên hỏi tôi có phải là bạn của cô XX không. Có một tập như vậy.

Đây là tuần thứ 3 trong chuyến đi 4 tuần khám phá Nhật Bản của chúng tôi và cho đến nay, Yuzawa Grand là trải nghiệm Ryokan Onsen tuyệt vời nhất mà chúng tôi từng có. Chúng tôi có thể ở đó vài ngày vì nó quá tuyệt vời. Chúng tôi đến vào buổi sáng và nhân viên vô cùng niềm nở, nhiệt tình và am hiểu. Trung tâm thông tin du lịch tại ga tàu cho biết cáp treo không hoạt động trong 3 ngày; tuy nhiên, lễ tân của Yuzawa đảm bảo với chúng tôi rằng nó vẫn hoạt động và thậm chí còn bán vé giảm giá cho chúng tôi. The best stay ever with exceptional service and super gorgeous room + private onsen. We enjoyed a complimentary welcome drink and dessert before they showed us to our room. The loft style japanese room was stunning, decorated with tasteful details. The best part was of course the onsen, we could watch snow as we enjoyed the soak. There was also a massage chair in the room haha. The breakfast that we added on was really delicious too. The hotel provides pick up service to and fro train stations nearby, make sure to check with them prior to your arrival. Something that warms our hearts is their quality service, e.g. they would warm our shoes before we head out as it was snowing outside etc. Location wise, it's very near to Gala Yuzawa station. However, I think most restaurants are closer to Echigo Yuzawa station. So we would take a short walk there every night for dinner instead.
