Khách Sạn Có Phòng tập thể hình Tại Samarqand, Uzbekistan

We are so happy and satisfied with this hotel until the day we checked out. We were accused of taking the laundry bag which is worth 300k Uzbek SUM. I went up with 2 staff and it turned out it was in the drawer all the time (the funny thing is I never even touched it.) I don’t blame these 2 staff as I know it is their responsibility to make sure nothing was missing/stolen (though next time it would be appreciated if they can check it more thoroughly.) What truly pissed me off is the attitude from another female staff at the reception named Zarifa. From the moment we checked out, she just looked grumpy and when my friend said “we never used it”, she reacted with “I am sure you did” in a very rude way! Even later on, it turned out to be in the drawer in the room, she was not even apologetic (the other 2 staff at least said “sorry for the mistake.” This is one of the 2 five star hotels in Samarkand and I just hope what we paid at this hotel is equivalent to the amount of respect you show to your customers. The hotel really NEEDS to put more training in your staff’s service. By the way, we had a really nice chat with another staff named “Firdav” at the first floor bar (if I remember his name correctly, he is tall and bit skinny). He had worked in Hilton for 2 years and the professionalism and politeness he demonstrated is just another level. PLEASE LEARN FROM HIM THAT HOW A STAFF AT 5 STAR HOTEL SHOULD BEHAVE AND TREAT THEIR GUESTS!!

After a few rough nights at a Soviet hotel, words can’t describe how happy I was to see this hotel. The male receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived as he let me check in a bit earlier after a train ride. The breakfast fulfilled my needs as they have fresh fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, eggs, coffee… no complaint. The guy working at the breakfast area was also very helpful. After I finished gym, I went up there. He immediately asked me if I needed water. It shows that he’s attentive. I felt happy staying there. The reason I booked it was the gym. As an active person, I need to work out on my travels. The gym is not fully equipped but it provides with the basics such as a treadmill, a bike and weights. Location wise, it’s not in the center of the tourist spot but it’s walking distance. It took me 15 min to get to Registan. Don’t worry though as Samarkand is pedestrian friendly.

Khách sạn rất mới và nằm cạnh kênh đào nhân tạo. Cảnh đêm rất đẹp. Khách sạn do một chủ sở hữu người Trung Quốc mở và phong cách trang trí toàn là các thương hiệu thời trang Trung Quốc. Thật không may, chất lượng trang trí không được tốt lắm. Chúng tôi gặp phải tình huống ổ cắm không sử dụng được và vòi hoa sen trong phòng tắm bị rơi ra khi đang sử dụng. Bữa sáng của khách sạn ở mức trung bình, nhưng dịch vụ lễ tân cũng rất nồng nhiệt và thân thiện. Chúng tôi đến đó vào giữa đêm và tìm nhầm khách sạn. Vì họ là một nhóm, khách sạn đã liên hệ n*** với bên kia và người quản lý sảnh đã chạy đến chỉ đường cho chúng tôi. Ngoài ra, khi chúng tôi báo cáo sự cố về ổ cắm và yêu cầu đổi phòng, khách sạn nói rằng họ sẽ cử người đến sửa. Nếu không thể sửa được, họ sẽ sắp xếp một phòng thay thế. Kết quả là, khi chúng tôi trở về sau một ngày vui chơi, chúng tôi thấy rằng không những ổ cắm không được sửa mà n*** cả vệ sinh của phòng đó cũng bị bỏ sót và dọn dẹp. Công tác quản lý nội bộ của khách sạn cần được cải thiện.

Great 3 nights stay at Movenpick hotel with all amenities. Very convenient and close to the Gour Emir monument (4/5mn by walk) and the Registan square (15/16mn). A lot of cafe and restaurants around the hotel as we didn’t book the hotel breakfast. As we are lazy to dine out, we enjoyed twice diners at the restaurant Caramelle (really juicy manti and tasteful somsa & soups) We tried the sauna (hammam was under reparation) and the fitness. We had pleasant drinks at the pool bar. So we can recommend the Movenpick hotel at Samarkand. And the room rates are very affordable for a 4,5/5* hotel.

Hotel itself was amazing. Very clean & posh. Breakfast was wide of selections. Swimming pool & spa was fun way to relax.  When we ask, they happily made us late check out. Very grateful! Vey much enjoyed staying.  Only downside was location, although it's close to a park, we found it hard to find yandex. It was quite expensive & took 10-15 mins to arrive. Since we have been using yandex many different cities, this time was the most hassle.
