Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.  Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.  The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.  This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

We just had the most wonderful stay at La Plage. We arrived and were seen immediately and offered a drink whilst we checked in. We were then given a tour of the hotel and some information on the local area. We were shown to our room which was a sea front bungalow with a hot tub. Just gorgeous! We had the most beautiful view of Isola Bella. The next morning we were awake before the birds for an excursion to Etna (for my birthday), before we left someone appeared at the door with a birthday cake and a candle. A really lovely touch. Upon our return the ladies who cleaned the rooms stopped by whilst I enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub to say hello and sang me happy birthday too! The service was impeccable from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are AMAZING and so attentive. The food is delicious. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there. Thank you everyone in La Plage for making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to come back

The hotel is really nicely located with a view to Mount Etna, also with an outside swimming pool area. Rooms were spacious and absolutely clean. Service at reception was excellent while bar and restaurant service could be sometimes a little bit faster and more professional. What we did not appreciate: We followed an invitation of the hotel restaurant for a full Saturday night dinner menu, which should be accompanied by a live saxophonist. But when the saxophonist did not appear we were informed they copied the invitation just from two weeks ago. At least we would have expected some sort of professional apologies and set-off because we wouldn´t have stayed for dinner if we had known in advance. Photo: from swimming pool area to Mount Etna

Lovely hotel with a really relaxed atmosphere. Our room was 2nd floor overlooking the pool. Very comfortable and lovely view but the bathroom is not 5 star. Strange arrangement with the shower and toilet. Notwithstanding that the bathroom amenities were a lovely Sicilian brand. Location is 25min walk into town, not for those who struggle with walking but we enjoyed it. The hotel never felt busy and there’s lots of different places to relax and enjoy the weather with great facilities. Staff are super friendly too.

Khách sạn tuyệt vời, mang đậm dấu ấn lịch sử, nằm ở vị trí đẹp. Khách sạn rõ ràng cần được bảo trì. Cửa nhà hàng của chúng tôi không đóng được nên rất khó chịu. Bữa sáng khá ổn, mặc dù tôi muốn có nhiều lựa chọn món mặn hơn. Chúng tôi yêu cầu phòng ở tầng cao hơn nhưng lại nhận được phòng ở tầng trệt và khá ồn ào. Dù sao thì, có lẽ đây là khách sạn tốt nhất ở Palermo, nhưng vẫn còn nhiều điều cần cải thiện để phục vụ khách hàng tốt hơn.

This is really a 5 star experience! They have many on-site dining options - all with a lovely view of the Concordia temple. All food was fabulous and featured local, seasonal ingredients. The resort also has a private entrance to the Valle dei Templi park which allows guests to beat the crowds and enjoy a peaceful walk through pristine nature to reach the temples. I hope to return in the future!

Struttura emozionante , adiacente alla piazza principale di Taormina , in posizione privilegiatissima con un affaccio sul mare stupendo! Grazie a tutto lo staff per l'indimenticabile esperienza. Solo per citare alcuni e senza dimenticare gli altri: Luca manager del ristorante , Santino alla Reception , Giuseppe in servizio alla piscina e la signora delle colazioni hanno contribuito a rendere eccellente il nostro soggiorno. Complimenti a tutti!!!

This place was amazingly beautiful. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The only thing I would have liked is larger portions for dinner. The food was excellent though.
