Just managed to book this for 1 day for my birthday weekendfor myself and my daughter and wished I had booked it for the entire duration of my 6 day stay in Portugal. Clean, peaceful, pool was crystal clear, staff were friendly. d I somehow managed to get it for a very competitive price, not the usual rate. Puntos negativos: Las camas no eran muy cómodas para dos personas ya que no están bien unidas. Las duchas también son mejorables, tienes que ir pulsando el botón cada tres segundos para que eche agua y no tiene manguera, así que el chorro es fijo. La habitación ponía que tiene vista a un patio, pero realmente lo que da es a una zona común desde donde pueden verte cualquier persona que pase por al lado. Check In bastante tarde. La insonorización también podría ser mejor. Lo positivo: Amabilidad en recepción Desayuno incluido Ubicación bastante buena, solo un poco complicado a veces para aparcar pero tienen opción de plaza de garaje Préstamo de sombrillas y zonas comunes

Very clean and new hotel. The carpets in the hallways were brilliant - well thought out to make wheeled suitcases easy to pull; also stylish. Bed was super comfortable, AC very effective, room was kept immaculately clean by friendly cleaning staff. Friendly staff served breakfast and in the roof top bar which was amazing, with 360degree views. Dipping pool and sun loungers were well-used; hard to get a lounger in time! Downside: some very odd management decisions. Despite description on Trip there was no cafe, no lunch or dinner and not even bar snacks! I rang on the 2nd day to ask for a bottle of water … response “Madam, this is a 3* hotel. You only get a bottle of water on your first day”!! Bizarre. I was able to buy a $0.99 bottle from the bar for €2.50! Breakfast: the ubiquitous coffee machine producing the most disgusting coffee - I tried all of them! In the end I risked tea and even the hot water had scum on it. I know I was not alone … bacon - HP sauce standing proud like a statue - no sausages, cooked tomato, fried egg etc! Pancakes and waffles - no syrup! Nice fresh bread rolls and croissants. Sliced cheese and packaged ham. Selection of cereals, orange juice and good selection of fruit. After 5 breakfasts I got fed up. WARNING - I was asked to give them my debit card to pay - she wrote down all the details! After I thought - why? I asked why - she said do they could charge me after I left if anything was missing or broken. I was assured this was legal in Portugal! I told them that was what “checkout” was for! I froze my card but I was really angry and when I have time to get a replacement I will need to cancel it! Balcony nice but only looked onto other rooms! Looking down - WHY NO GARDEN???!!! Just rooftops. I recommend a 4 hour boat trip …. Maybe 30m pleasant walk. Also hire bikes and go to the Nature Reserve - don’t miss Roman Salt Pits and beach crabs ….😊

The rooms are generally quite good value for money with all the basic essentials. The service was generally quite good though some staff were noticeably more friendly than others. The location is ok but a bit of a walk from the marina and the ferries to the islands. The one major disappointment but this may have not been any fault of the hotel was the power cuts. There were several in one day and three of those occurred in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. You might be thinking well, if we were asleep, how did it affect us? Well, when the power cuts off the emergency lights kick in. When they came on, it woke us up. I understand the need for emergency lighting, but on that particular night we really didn’t sleep very night

Gorgeous hotel, very close to 2 beaches, walking distance to strip, but not so close that you can hear all the parties! Room was lovely, cocktails very good, staff very friendly & welcoming! Only thing I would comment less that 5/5 is there was almost no vegan options at the breakfast, which was a shame as we had paid for breakfast included and I couldn’t eat much! Anyway other than that amazing hotel, will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property right on Praia da Rocha. Excellent service at check-in, was given a quick tour of the lobby and room by a wonderful gentleman. Beautiful and tidy room, stunning view from balcony, though the small bathroom window opens into the corridor and at times there is an unpleasant odour from a pipe in the toilet. Breakfast was adequate and delicious, staff were helpful and nice. Overall a great place to stay!

TTamelaNot my first time in Faro but chose this hotel for the rooms with balcony marina view. The hotel has a rich history and has been around since 1960s and its undergoing refurbishments in some areas. The old rooms look dated and could do with better cleaning as previous occupant’s hair was found in the bathroom. We loved the design & aesthetic looks of the new refurbished areas such as the spa, bathrooms, gym, pool & sauna but shame that there was a water leak in the indoor pool ceiling and rusty bits on the stainless steel railings. Considering it’s completed in Aug 2025, the hotel may need to do more due diligence to ensure the safety of guests. As a non Portuguese speaker, I felt that the check-in staff can make more efforts in being warm and welcoming. I noticed that this hotel is one of the few hotels ive been that check-in staffs are seated instead of standing, making the process somehow casual & less welcoming. I also called in to make a request for a late check out and received a hostile response by a lady who said ‘No. We need the room back’. We just got married the day before arriving & we are here to also celebrate my honeymoon & partner’s birthday. Weeks prior to arriving, I put in a request if the hotel could do a birthday special for him but this was not acknowledged. As an avid traveller who has stayed in many hotels around the world, I am a little dissapointed with the lack of personalised attentive service provided by the hotel. If the view & location isn’t a concern, I recommend the nearby 3HB hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. AP Eva senses have a great deal of potential, but they may be complacent at going beyond, as they are currently the only hotel at Faro marina. Additional employees like the elder gentleman pianist & hotel hairdresser were the warmest I’ve come across.

What doesn't strike us as normal, however, is the lack of little touches for a hotel in this category. No shampoo, no q-tips, just the same gel for washing hands and in the shower. No shower cap. An empty fridge bar. We appreciate the coffee machine and the bottle of water, but one normal coffee capsule and 3 decaffeinated coffee capsules... not logical... We asked for a room with a bath when we booked (we were ”upgraded” without any request on our part, on a ”marina” view, but with a shower. As we are not very nice customers, we didn't say anything. The bedding is good. The pillows are quite thick, which can be uncomfortable for people with sensitive necks. 3 cushions are available, but they are all very dense. The road is very noisy, subject to a few car rodeos at night. I've heard that the rooftop is noisy in November, but fortunately this is not the case. The staff are friendly and respond to requests. The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive, but for the evening menu, this type of buffet seems less attractive, but will surely please some people. The spa is very good, at 12.5 euros for one hour (equipped swimming pool, sauna, hammam, etc.). There is a car park at the hotel for 6 euros a night, but free parking is available 200m from the hotel by the beach. All in all, then, this is a fine hotel with a lot of potential, but some details clearly need to be reviewed to make it really nice.

The check in experience was very pleasant and straight forward and the service was great. The hotel do offer breakfast at a additional cost but you will not be disappointed . The breakfast is a buffet breakfast and I enjoyed it very much as everything was delicious. We booked a room with a lovely sea view .. The room was very clean , the bed very comfortable and bathroom although very basic did the job. You get a nice kettle and snack bits and it was really kond how they gave us a whole fruit bowl to devour . The water pressure in the shower was surprisingly great and I love how they laid out the bathroom extras neatly . Our room came with a balcony and it did not disappont. Lovely views and it is really quiet at night. On the last night we had some typical loud British tourist next door who really didn't take into account that people we're trying to sleep but the hotel staff sorted them put soon enough and told them to be quiet . There is a resturant downstairs for lunch and dinner and love music which is there for you to enjoy. The hotel is across the road from the beach

LlamyungA Cozy Getaway with a Few Quirks I recently had the pleasure of staying at Block C in a wonderful location near the beach. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there, as the bedroom was spacious and beautifully designed. However, there were a few quirks that left us slightly puzzled. Locating the signage for the establishment proved to be a small challenge, but it added a sense of adventure to our experience. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room left something to be desired. It struggled to keep the temperature comfortably cool, and we often found ourselves feeling a bit hot. It would be great if this aspect could be improved to ensure a more comfortable stay. Nevertheless, spending evenings on the balcony was a delightfully cozy and relaxed experience. The ambiance was inviting and lent itself to unwinding after a day of exploration. The surrounding garden and environment added to the overall charm, and we truly appreciated the pleasant surroundings. I highly recommend visiting this place for a minimum stay of 2 to 3 days. Anything less would make the trip feel rushed, as there is so much to explore and enjoy. Despite the minor quirks, our overall experience was enjoyable and memorable. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have stayed here and would gladly return for another visit.

The experience began with a wonderful welcome at reception. Ina, the receptionist who greeted me, was incredibly friendly, warm, and highly professional. She kindly offered me an early check-in, which immediately made me feel like a valued and special guest. She also took the time to explain everything about the hotel, which I truly appreciated. My room was fantastic — comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly prepared. I would also like to give special thanks to the restaurant team, and especially to Mario. He is an incredible person — extremely attentive, caring, and genuinely dedicated to the guests. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised when he offered me a special food option that was not even part of the standard breakfast. The vegetables prepared for me were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. This thoughtful gesture meant a lot to me. Another lady at the reception, whose name I unfortunately do not remember, was also very kind, welcoming, and helpful. I give the hotel my highest rating and warmest recommendations. The location is perfect - it's not in town centre, but a 12 mins easy walk away - however it means you're just another 10-15 mins walk away in each direction to multiple beaches. It's closest to Praia Caldeira and Des Estudiantes (my absolute favourite!) and likewise, you can walk the other direction to Praia Dona Ana and Camilo, and the famous Ponta Da Piedade within 25 mins - no uphill! It's super close to two supermarkets (Spar and an Asian Mart) and enough restaurants nearby, or just next door to a fabulous chinese restaurant (yes, of all places!). A few imperfections with the smell, possibly not the hotel's fault and average pillows, but we'll live for c. EUR130/night. Do try to secure a room on level 2 and above. I initially got a room with twin beds on level 0 and it was noisier and smellier.
