Overall this very good hotel with nice facilities. However I experience two incidents which downgraded service rank. On the first day in the restaurant person was smoking close to our table - should be separate area for smokers and nonsmokers, no reaction from personel. On the 2nd day when taking short clip of the cook preparing the meal, I was approached by the personel and asked not to record the staff, in other hotels staff is definitely more welcome to guests recording or taking photos. Not here.

We are extremely happy to have chosen Holiday Inn Express for the duration of our stay in Yichang as well as Changsha! Keep up the good work esp Liya from Yichang and Lusa from Changsha and their teams!🤩

We stayed at East Lake Hotel, Tingtao 2#, for three nights in August 2025, it was great, highly recommend ! East Lake Hotel is known for its beautiful scenery, just as expected, the view was absolutely stunning, but what was better than the view was the best customer service. They assigned a staff member, Ms. Yu, to help us. Ms. Yu gave us her WeChat contact information so we can reach out easily. Ms. Yu was professional and courteous, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, any concern / issue we had, she handled it quickly, including helping out with the laundry! We stayed at other Five Star hotels in Wuhan, Beijing, and Shanghai, but no other hotel provided this level of service. The front desk was also very helpful. Last but not the least, their breakfast buffet was the best among the 6 hotels we stayed for this trip. Đó là một kỳ nghỉ tuyệt vời, lễ tân chào đón, lịch sự và cực kỳ hữu ích. Bản thân khách sạn thực sự đẹp, phong cảnh và bầu không khí thật tuyệt vời. Tôi muốn tin rằng họ có thang máy nhanh nhất trong thành phố. Căn phòng thực sự thanh lịch, sang trọng và rất sạch sẽ. Bộ đồ giường được sắp xếp tốt với vải mềm sạch sẽ😍😍😍. Bếp cung cấp bữa sáng ngon miệng, nhiều món ăn chỉ có nhiều lựa chọn. Tôi yêu nơi này. Tôi hoàn toàn giới thiệu khách sạn. Vị trí hoàn hảo, dễ dàng để đến, gần Hankou, phố Han và có ga tàu điện ngầm Qingyuzui dành cho những ai thích phương tiện công cộng.

Hotel located opposite the dock and next to Wanda Plaza which saved us the trouble to get a taxi to move around. We took the cruise from Chongqing, needed to stay 1 night and returned to Chongqing by high speed rail the next day. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Got us a 9 seater vehicle to send us to the railway station. The river view bedroom is spacious. Hotel common area has been renovated, lift lobby marble was polished and corridors with new carpets. Bedroom curtains and armchairs are dark brown velvet which i think are old design, replace it with lighter shade of beige will makes it look more modern. The bathroom floor needs polishing & grouting.
