Price: Very cheap for a 4-star hotel. Good value for money. Location: Quite far, located in the an Naseem area, but like the vive there. Shuttle bus : very excellent and very punctual. Room: Overall okay, but the toilet is quite small. Breakfast: Has a good variety, but the menu is almost the same every day. I stayed for 7 nights and ended up eating nearly the same items daily. Staff: Generally okay, but there was a serious incident that affected my stay. One night, a bellman attempted to open my room door 2–3 times. Fortunately, I had engaged the inner lock, so he was unable to enter fully. He was accompanied by other outsiders, which was a clear breach of guest privacy and safety. I immediately made a complaint to the reception. They offered a room upgrade, but the room change process took a very long time. I waited from before Maghrib until after Isya, and eventually had to go to the reception myself to follow up. Wi-Fi: After changing to the new room, the Wi-Fi signal was very weak. I had to sit near the lift area just to get a stable and stronger internet connection, which was very inconvenient.

Jumeirah Hotel was excellent in terms of facilities — everything is new, clean, and well-maintained. Credit where it’s due: the staff were genuinely outstanding, extremely attentive, and always eager to help. Service level is easily one of the best. Location-wise, it’s around a 4–6 minute walk to Al Haram, which is acceptable. However, let’s be real — compared to the Clock Tower hotels, they are noticeably closer and more convenient, especially during peak prayer times. Now, about the “Partial Haram View” — this needs honesty. We booked two Deluxe Rooms with Partial Haram View, but the view is technically there… if you really look for it 😅. The Haram is barely visible, and most of the view is dominated by unfinished construction. You’ll spend more time spotting the Haram than enjoying it. Bottom line: Excellent hotel, top-tier service, great facilities — but don’t book it expecting a meaningful Haram view. If proximity and view matter, Clock Tower hotels still win.

Our stay at Pullman ZamZam Makkah with Kaaba view was wonderful overall. The direct view of the Kaaba from the window made this accommodation very special and added so much to our visit. It’s truly a location you won’t forget. The hotel staff were friendly and eager to assist with any requests, and the walk to Masjid al-Haram took just a couple of minutes — super convenient for all prayer times. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though I think some areas could benefit from updated furnishings. Still, the atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant, and I would happily stay here again if I visit Makkah in the future.

Our stay at Royal Clocktower Hotel was fantastic! The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Great location, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent value—highly recommend! Very short distance to the Haram.

Fabulous hotel. Lovely lobby with fountain as you enter. Love the sound of water. And the fragrance. This hotel smells so good. Desk staff are very helpful and unrushed. My room had an excellent view of King Fahd's fountain. The room itself had plenty of space and was very clean. The shower pressure was strong and the water hot. I slept well on a big comfortable bed with comfortable pillows. The hotel has been around for decades but still looks great. It is a very short walk to the Corniche. I will stay here again next time I'm in Jeddah. Value for money.

The location of the hotel is fabulous There are three routes to the masjid ul haram. One is exiting the lobby and turning left, walking up marriott and then turning right (you will see the haram to see what I mean) - then walk down the slight hill. The second is exiting the lobby, and walking left across the street, straight through hilton convention. The third is exiting the lobby, turning left and walking up the stairs that are next to Makkah Gate sign. You then turn left and head to haram down the escalators that everyone posts about online! It is hilly using route one or three, but not really an issue for walking or pram users. This is aside from two other ways to reach the haram: the marriott shuttle bus which drops you near conrad, near the I love Makkah area. Or, the golf buggy which takes you the same route as Walking Route One I mentioned above. Id recommend getting the buggy as its less crowded. The golf buggy comes to the same drop off spot to take you back. Shuttles buggys are really constant and timely, jus wait around. The marriott is opposite the Address hotels back entrance. There are wonderful coffee shops if you climb the stairs as mentioned in my Walking Route 3 I mentioned above. Great area to take children to play and run around. The mosque is part of the haram so every room has a live speaker during prayer time with mic volume to adjust. You can joim salaah from your room or go to the prayer room on floor 3. Reception gave us a cheaper breakfast or dinner price than online voucher places. Breakfast is average but convenient. There is a cafe on ground floor that serves nice hot or cold food anytime in the day. A baskin Robbins freezer is also there. Hotel staff and reception are lovely!!!

I had the pleasure of staying at City Centre Rotana Doha and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel combines modern luxury with warm hospitality, making it a standout choice in the heart of Doha. The location is superb — directly connected to City Center Mall and just minutes from West Bay, the Corniche, and other major landmarks. Whether you're in Doha for business or leisure, the convenience is unbeatable. My room was spacious, clean, and elegantly furnished, with a stunning view of the city skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had everything I needed — from fast Wi-Fi to a well-appointed work desk and luxurious bathroom amenities. The breakfast buffet was a daily highlight, offering an impressive selection of international and Middle Eastern dishes. I was particularly impressed by the variety and quality of the food, as well as the attentive and courteous service from the restaurant staff. Other hotel facilities — including the pool, fitness center, and spa — were well-maintained and inviting. The gym was well-equipped and perfect for keeping up with a routine during travel. What truly stood out, though, was the hospitality. Every staff member I encountered was professional, helpful, and genuinely committed to making the stay enjoyable. Whether it was housekeeping, reception, or concierge, the service was consistently excellent. City Centre Rotana Doha is a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and accessibility. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Doha.

I arrived before 2pm (start of checkin) and they let me enter my room. I was so lucky and thankful as my journey to Jeddah was tiring :-) In between my stays I often asked the reception to send the housekeeping into my room to set it up a little bit when I’m off in the city and the housekeeping did an excellent job! Everything was clean and well equipped. And I got my water and coffee daily. The area around this Ibis hotel is okayish. Could be better and without a car it can be dangerous, too as there is a highway with lots of traffic next to it. But I somehow managed it to walk some distances although Jeddah isn’t a walkable city. The closest supermarket is as Danube and about a 20 minute walk. The closest bus stop to get to the historic city center of Jeddah was also a 20 minute walk. Unfortunately on my last day the reception called me at around 11:30am and was asking why I didn’t check out. I told them that when I checked in I asked for a late checkout and the receptionist agreed to 1:30pm. I told him to type it into the system, but he didn’t. Otherwise no one would have called me before. Please update your staff especially when I did give a notice to do so and to avoid the calls when I need some proper rest before a long journey. All in all my experience was nice. I even visited the gym, which was well equipped. 5 stars goes to the excellent housekeeping!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
