The swimming pool and function room are so happening. Music nonstop until 10pm. Luckily all noise stops around 10pm to have peaceful sleep. Breakfast was tasty but full of black particle inside the food. The car entrance to the hotel was not user friendly, need to came out of the car to request PIC to lift the gate. Have to pay deposit in cash - not accept credit card. The air cond water dripped on the bed! No lift, need to walk upstairs with your heavy luggage.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Trogon's Perch in Siargao for the second time in a week, and I'm already planning my next visit. The hotel's location is really great for us. The receptionists were friendly when we checked in and checked out. The guards were helpful as well. The hotel was well-decorated for the season. There's no elevator, so if you get a family room, it's most likely on the 4th floor, which is fine... but if you have big/heavy luggage, this might be an issue. The room was okay, but we were disappointed upon opening... there was a funny smell inside the room, but we didn't bother to complain about it as we were all tired from a long trip. A/C was not cold enough as well. Aside from that, everything else was good. Thank you, Almont City Hotel.

I had a good time at Casavia Siargao. The location is ideal if you want to surf at Cloud9: you can walk there in 5 minutes, and it's much quieter than General Luna but still close enough if you want to spend the night eating/partying there. The private room was pretty nice and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom could use some love, but still it was ok. The staff is nice and always willing to help, and the hostel has several social nights organised via a Whatsapp group. While I didn't take part in those events, it's a convenient way to meet other travellers. My only remark was about the noise: my room was facing the upstairs social area and, despite the signs specifying the quiet time (22pm onwards) and also a 500PHP fine for people not respecting it, every night I had people making phone calls, playing the guitar or shouting loudly after midnight (or later) in front of my room and there was nobody around to remind to keep the voice down. That was annoying.

- Prides itself in being a party hostel, but is also suitable for those just looking for a nice place to stay - they have a restaurant with a good variety of food at good prices - facilties are good - comfortable beds, lockers, warm showers - wifi is not bad, good place for those working from abroad. - has events that you can sign up for - island party hopping, etc.

After over 2 weeks stay would say this hostel had dirty toilets and weekend parties + full of young party animal adults. Great place when you are young and like to party but definitely not for relaxing surf holiday place. Toilet are on young dirty men usage who pee on toilets seats ect...
