As a mom travelling with my two boys, (16 and 13) we had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful villa! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our incredible host Xianti (XT), his lovely mother, and the entire family. They were exceptionally kind, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our entire visit. We stayed in the Triple Family Courtyard Room, which was not only beautifully decorated but also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Despite our late arrival, we were still able to order a meal from the aunties and wow, the food was outstanding! In fact, we ended up having lunch and dinner there every single day because it was just that delicious. Every meal felt like a lovingly prepared, home-cooked feast. We also had the pleasure of taking part in a tea ceremony, which was a serene and special experience. The tea was exquisite, and it was a lovely way to connect with the culture and surroundings. Another highlight was the recommendation to see Impression Da Hong Pao a next-level show that left us absolutely amazed. What made it even better was that our host arranged the tickets for us and had them delivered to the villa, so thoughtful and convenient! If you’re still hesitating, don’t! We can wholeheartedly recommend this villa. It truly felt like a home away from home in China 💖 and was the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking Wuyishan mountains. The hotel room is exactly how it looks on photos. It feels extremely clean, not many hotels I’d walk barefoot in, but this hotel made me feel comfortable doing so. The service is gold star, from arranging the pickup before I arrive to the interactions I had during my stay, the staff I interacted with are all super friendly and helpful. This hotel is situated in a small secluded area and you only hear birds chirping, it’s not too far from the attractions either. The bathroom is very well thought out and a luxury to enjoy. I’d definitely stay here if I visit Wuyishan again.

Service was excellent - the 2 ladies at reception were very helpful. Our room refrigerator was not working and they tried to fix it but couldn’t. They kindly kept my medication refrigerated at the office and delivered it when needed. Room size was great and we didn’t feel cooped up at all when stuck inside from the rain. We didn’t enjoy disposable towels though. Lots of small local restaurants at our doorstep and not far from the beach walk. Name of the hotel on Trip.com doesn’t match the name on the building (Island Hotel/Siyu Hotel). Could include some tourist information about the area in the room to help clueless visitors. Overall it was a very good experience though.

Khi đến nơi, tôi được biết rằng biệt thự này từng là địa điểm quay phim của bộ phim ”The Knot”, một tòa nhà rất đẹp theo phong cách thời kỳ Cộng hòa, hoàn hảo để chụp ảnh. Chủ nhà trọ đã giúp chúng tôi nâng cấp phòng lên phòng lớn hơn, phòng rộng rãi, đầy đủ tiện nghi và rất sạch sẽ; không hề chật chội n*** cả khi có ba người và một đứa trẻ. Trước khi rời đi, chủ nhà trọ thậm chí còn cung cấp cho chúng tôi thông tin liên lạc của những người khuân vác trên đảo, giúp chúng tôi khỏi phải vất vả mang hành lý ra bến tàu.

One of the most fantastic stops on our trip in China was this pleasant villa, hosted by a sweet couple.** We had the great pleasure of staying here, surrounded by beautiful and peaceful scenery. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. We are truly thankful to our wonderful hosts.
