Hotel was still in the process of being built with some facilities unavailable. Room was large but very hollow and like a barn with no carpet on the floor only hard flooring. Cold tap in kitchen did not work and no cooking utensils and limited knives and forks etc. Breakfast was also poor with throw away plates and wooden cutlery like on an airplane . Expensive for what it was and I would not stay again

The hotel was clean, comfortable and amazingly quiet in spite of being located inside of the airport. A refrigerator in the room would have been great. Overall: A well updated older hotel with some Miami-vibe charm. I will stay there again.

Tôi cần nhận phòng muộn và trả phòng sớm, nên tôi thấy có giảm giá và ở lại vài tiếng. Thật tuyệt vời.
Lúc đầu, tôi không biết lối vào bãi đậu xe là tự động, nên nó đã đóng và tôi không thể vào được. May mắn thay, một chiếc xe khác đang đỗ vào, nên tôi đi theo họ. Quầy lễ tân rất đẹp và sạch sẽ, thật tuyệt.
Phòng rộng rãi, sàn nhà đẹp, không trải thảm.
Chỗ đậu xe miễn phí, và họ thậm chí còn phục vụ bữa sáng, nhưng tôi không thể dùng bữa sáng vì tôi phải trả phòng sớm.
Kỳ nghỉ của tôi khá ngắn, nhưng nhờ họ mà tôi đã có một kỳ nghỉ tuyệt vời. Cảm ơn các bạn.

The hotel is not bad, however there were a couple of downsides:
1. The service was extremely slow, every time we had to wait for 20 minutes at the reception.
2. I have received a small package and had to pay $9 USD pick up fee.
3. I forgot my jacket at my room and when I called the hotel they said that they were unable to locate it.
4. The room was not cleaned and the shampoos/soap were not refilled as well as the towels were not picked up from the floor or changed within several days of my stay.
Otherwise, it was pretty clean but not spotless. I haven't tried the breakfast so can't say. The parking is free.

The hotel is far from Universal and you would need car to travel any of the parks. The shuttle service is not at all useful as they have very limited seats. We never used to get any reservation which we had to do atleast 24hours earlier (still we could never get any seats). And the timings for shuttle were really awkward as they would leave 2 hours or earlier before the parks open up. The rooms are spacious but very basic. The room service is very basic and they would not even deliver a simple disposable cups or spoons to the room. We need to go down to the reception everytime to collect it. The only advantage was that it was close to Walmart. Overall it is a decent property where you can expect very basic service linke room cleaning and nothing else.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel.
The guest laundry facilities were very convenient — they are located on the 4th and 7th floors of Towers 1 and 2, which made it easy to do laundry during our stay.
Another great point was that we were able to store our luggage even after check-out, so we could go to the parks and enjoy the day without worrying about our bags.
Most importantly, all of the staff were fantastic. Everyone was friendly, professional, and very helpful, which made our stay even more comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

TTài khoản kháchI enjoyed my stay at Tru by Hilton in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The location was great. Downtown, easy access to everywhere, without feeling like you’re in the middle of a busy city. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Over all, the vibe of the place is very much like college dorm or summer camp for grown adults. I’d definitely stay here again. The free breakfast every morning was also a very nice addition.

TTài khoản kháchFirstly SUPER CLEAN! Inside AND Outside. CLEEEAN! Usually I hate hotels with carpet, but it was so clean I genuinely felt comfortable taking my socks off!!! And after one full night of walking basically barefoot through the room the bottom of my feet were clean!!!!! And the beds are SO COMFORTABLE!!!! I really only have two negative things to say which I will stay below.
The Front Desk lady at first Kind of acted as if I was slightly bothersome, Which rubbed Me the wrong way at first especially after she informed me that there was a $50 deposit which was not told to me earlier over the phone or before purchasing a room or after. And at first she was uncaring. But they were busy, I have a job as well and sometimes I can be slightly shorter with some customers, it's never anything personal, we're human, but at the end of it she actually made an exception to the deposit because I was not informed. Which totally made up what I felt at first. She actually turned out to be very kind and caring. so this negative one actually wasn't that negative.. lol
Now .. the breakfast 😂. PITIFUL!!! It's not nasty. Or gross.. it's just, bleh.. beagles. Bread. Maybe ONE hot dish if your lucky. Only decent thing is One Waffles maker for a HUGE hotel. Which most hotels That serve breakfast. So again it's not bad, just nothing special.. one could even say subpar, I mean the Comfort suites which is right across the street which is much cheaper has two times better breakfast.. but nothing compares to the Home2 rooms. The rooms make up for the lousy breakfast.
The bathrooms!! Have FULL bottles of really good conditioner, shampoo on my antibody wash as well as hand soap and lotion. The Smart Tvs are AWESOME! Incredibly high definition and pretty big!! And the walls are pretty thick and soundproof, you might hear a door open or close next to you once in awhile but you don't really hear people talking or any noises from your neighbor other than the occasional door shutting or opening.
And I just have to speak on the breakfast part one more time, their breakfast bar the way it's set up you would think it was going to be so extravagant. When it's worse than. Comfort suites and comfort suites set. Is ... Let's just say not humbled, lol. It definitely less extravagant come up with the breakfast is decent, I have at least two to three hot items.
Fix your breakfast and I'll give you five stars all day on everything!!!
Oh yeah they also have a gym, as well as fire pits outside which is pretty cool!! And my room, which was the king sweet came with a full size couch, ottoman and what looks like a half kitchen basically with a dishwasher and full sink and even dishes!!

Ttracey grangerWe were a family of 5: 2 adults 3 teens booked for 2 nights. We got to the hotel late, 10:30 pm, the check in line was long so check in was around 11. We booked and received a suite, 3 queen bed, 1 bathroom, pool view. The room was cute and generally clean with the exception of some liquid splatters on the walls here and there. A key had been provided for each person in our group for the free hour entry into the parks however we learned that you also have to use the card key to turn on the lights in the room. There either wasn’t a fan in the bathroom or it wasn’t working and though there were plenty of towels there were only 4 washcloths (original booking was for 6 individuals). We parked our rental in the parking garage and though it wasn’t terrible, it is a bit of a walk to the elevators. If you don’t want to go off site for food the food there was okay (at least during dinner time, don’t know what they served for lunch/breakfast) and honestly reasonable priced with a range number of options. But there are plenty of options in the surrounding area. Any beverages and snacks of course are higher in price. The buses to the park were clean with ride being 5-10 minutes and we never really had to wait coming and going from the park. They cleaned the room when we went to the park however again didn’t provide enough washcloths. I called front desk about it however had to end up hunting down house keeping about an hour later to get one and even that was almost not successful. Overall the stay was okay and I guess you can expect to feel safe as I was told by my husband that a female security guard followed him to our room after he asked for directions. But again everything was good until we got home and realized our personal keys that we kept in the middle console of the rental and had both our home and car keys on had been stolen. Security did claim to check the room we had checked out of with of course no success and then afterwards it took some time for them to truly understand the situation, after being placed on hold a couple of times and then transferred to I’m assuming their supervisor who at first sounded irritated I was then told that there are no cameras in the parking garage. They did take down my contact information and description of the keys but also indicated that having “over 8,000 visitors” at the hotel a day that it may take some time to know if the keys are ever found. So in other words don’t leave ANYTHING important in your vehicle.

TTài khoản kháchFirst of all, I have no complaints about the hotel's interior facilities. The only thing that made me angry was the front desk staff who checked me in.
He was a middle-aged white man. When I checked in, I noticed that the final payment amount was different from what the third-party platform had originally quoted. I asked him if there had been a mistake and mentioned the amount I should pay (my tone was polite and not offensive at all). Suddenly, his attitude changed, and he said, ”I don't care. You have to pay the amount shown in our hotel system. If you're not ready to pay, then step aside—there are other guests waiting. Don't argue with me.,take it up with the third-party platform.” His attitude was extremely rude, and I became anxious.
After going back and forth for few minutes, I suggested paying first and asked if I could pay in cash. He refused, saying I had to pay by card. I became even more frustrated but eventually compromised and paid by card.
Then he started being difficult again, claiming there was a problem with the computer and that even the final payment couldn't be processed at the moment, so he couldn't check me in. I was very hungry at the time and just wanted to check in quickly, drop off my luggage, and go eat. His stalling felt intentional, as if he was deliberately delaying my check-in. By then, 20 minutes had passed since I arrived at the hotel. I had no choice but to leave my luggage in the lobby, eat first, and then return to check in.
An hour later, I came back to the front desk, but no one was there to assist me. I noticed him resting in a small room next to the desk and called him out. When it was time to pay, I asked again if I could pay in cash, and this time, he actually allowed it (absurd). I asked him to provide a receipt for the final payment so I could inquire with the third-party platform about the discrepancy in the amount. He became very impatient and told me he couldn't give me a receipt of what I paid, only allowing me to take a photo of a piece of paper that didn't even specify what the charge was for. I was really speechless—this was the worst front desk service I had ever experienced.
The next day, the front desk staff was a Mexican boy, and his attitude was completely different. I guess I was just unlucky.
