Tamarindo is a fun beach town, lots of restaurants and of course the beach. The pros: incredible view, free shuttle to the town, access to the Langosta Beach Club, helpful staff. The cons: location a little far from town, can’t walk it. And the BIG con were the locusts. They were everywhere, especially at night. This are huge (8-10 inch) insects that look like huge grasshoppers. My kids freaked out because these things fly around and land on you sometimes. The Wyndham staff can’t control it, but they are helpful to remove them from your door. If you’re grossed out by large insects, just be aware.

We booked our last night in Costa Rica there to have an evening in the Casino and a nice buffet breakfast in the morning before heading to the airport. The hotel is beautiful and the pool area is gorgeous. The rooms were great.(except weirdly no faceclothes) However, the casino was closed and no mention of it upon booking and highly advertised as hotel and casino. And, the buffet breakfast consisted of cold eggs and a bunch of carbs. No meats. When asked if more eggs were coming staff just pointed at the cold ones in the near empty pan.

Perfect location for Liberia Airport with a free shuttle every 15 minutes. The hotel was spotless and had amazing facilities including an outdoor pool and gym. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Air con unit was very noisy and we did have to turn off but the room was cool enough anyway.

The Golden Palms resort in Papagoya is heavily. The staff are outstanding and kind. The pool is so clean and big. It’s so big it never feels crowded. The rooms were clean and had a mini fridge, which was great. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast but it would be nice if the menu varied from day to day. I highly recommend The Golden Palms resort. We’ve been there twice and will return again.

I booked at the last minute but never regret doing so. This property is beyond my expectations and well managed and organized. Breakfast is good lunch also. They have a nice swimming pool and the view is also fantastic. Vibe is great definitely a chill place for vocations. And it’s close to most of the locations.

Hotel muito bem localizado no centrinho de Tamarindo. Diversas opções de restaurante e entretenimento ao redor. Quartos amplos, bem equipados e limpos. Funcionários extremamente simpáticos e prestativos. Hotel também possui parceria com outras empresas de turismo e prestadores de serviço. Exemplos: aulas de surf, passeios como snorkling e até day-trip para Nicarágua eram opções vendidas na recepção.

Perfect location, more then perfect room size. Is one of the best accomodation in Arenal Cosa Rica . Host also very kind and good breakfast included. Parking inside is also convenient. Great pool.

El hotel está muy bien situado junto a la playa. La atención del personal fue fantástica, dando incluso recomendaciones buenísimas de actividades por la zona. Lo mejor… la piscina, que está abierta hasta las 9. Recomendación 100% si vas a Playa Coco
