I love coming here to play volleyball. There are plenty of poles so you just need to bring a net and a ball. There's a great view of the skyline if you go out to the southern tip of the beach which extends further into the lake.

The most happening beach in Chicago full of events and beach volleyball courts. Also home of Castaways where you can eat and drink from atop of converted boat and people watch. You can rent jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards, and even jet packs.

This beach gets somewhat crowded during the summer making it uncomfortable. There is almost never any room to lay a towel down because it is the most popular beach

North Avenue Beach is a Chicago hotspot in the summer. It gets very crowded, but the area is large and can fit large amounts of people. Police are always patrolling the area so I always feel safe. It is fun for a group of friends in the summer to gather together then head to other events in the city like street fests.
