I had an exceptional stay at Hotel Torre Praia. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The food was delightful, offering a wide range of delicious options that I thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel was exactly as depicted in the photos, conveniently located right by the beach in a stunningly picturesque area. My room was spotless and was refreshed every day, adding to the overall comfort of my experience.

Wonderful experience and the best hotel during our stay in Madeira. Perfect price and value proposition with a staff who are really customers oriented and friendly. Smaller hotel what is never overcrowded. Nice charming design elements. Very good breakfast with selection of local cheeses and meat. Real juice would be the only needed improvement and some pastel de Nata for the breakfast would add to the mandatory Portuguese experience. Otherwise 100% perfect stay. Excellent swimming pool with sea water. Yes. The rooms are somewhat dated but super clean and comfortable. I didn't came here to see golden chandeliers so l was super satistied! Excellent location and direct sea access. What more could one look for??

O Porto Santo Hotel & Spa é uma escolha excelente para quem procura descanso e tranquilidade. Apesar de ser um hotel modesto, é extremamente confortável e acolhedor. Destaco especialmente a simpatia e disponibilidade do staff, que torna a experiência ainda mais agradável. E o bar de praia? Simplesmente espetacular — perfeito para aproveitar o pôr do sol com uma bebida na mão. Recomendo!

The suites are located on southern beach strip of the island, accessible by 2 buses or a taxi from the ferry port. Staff was very friendly, although not always aware of things when we asked some questions, but they did endeavour to find out. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, and needs some work and the rooms could do with some fresh paint. But overall very nice and comfortable, clean large outdoor pool, plenty of send beds, and umbrellas and beds directly on the beach with lifeguard on duty. The breakfast was tasty too with plenty of options. Would stay again

On the whole, it’s a really great hotel at the price. The rooms are spacious and clean.The staff were really helpful in organising things for my partners birthday and really went the extra step to make our trip special. Can’t fault the service. My only gripes are that you can’t set the you can’t set up the aircon yourself in the rooms and the gym is limited.

Ich würde raten schon bereits vor Check-In Wasser etc. einzukaufen. Sehr empfehlenswert für den Nachtpreis von ca. 150-170€ zusammen. Mehr würde ich jedoch nicht bezahlen.

Ideal ter carro pois fica a 30min do Funchal. Vale a pena pagar extra para ter quarto com vista de mar A qualidade e quantidade da comida cumpre com o tudo incluído, assim como as bebidas. Animação diária e variada. Bom spa com piscina aquecida, turco, sauna e duches frios. Zona da piscina exterior muito agradável, com bastantes espreguiçadeiras e bem conseguida. Ping Pong gratuito, bilhar pago (€3/hora). Muito boa relação preço/qualidade.

TTài khoản kháchWe booked a triple room 3 beds last min with late bird price. However they gave us double room 2 beds. It's on the 1st floor just next to tennis court which is quite noisy. It's 31 degree F, no air conditioner. Only 1 tiny window can be opened for fresh air but its facing a foot path with many guests access to the indoor pool, gym...etc. Not enough privacy. Location is ok as many small supermarkets, restaurants and bus stops near by within walking distance. Hotel facilities are good for the price.

FFabijanoThe dining room -I was there for the breakfast- is an old one, not so inviting. The breakfast-selection is not so good, as a vegan or vegetarian you can't choose much (only beans & bread), the coffee is okay but not tasty, the juices are not fresh & sugary. There is no big pot for cooking, for two persons it would be good to have one. The bed is good, the fan does its job, the bathroom is big enough, the balcony practical. The location is near to the busline, 30min to walk to the center & there is the Lido promenade (with some places to swim) to the next small city with a small light tunnel for pedestrians, there you can hear/see the surf :) The opening times for the pool are too late in the morning and too short (8.00-20.00). The female staff at the reception with the glasses (saturday evening), didn't manage my wake-up-call for the next morning (the staff at this day showed me that he had no notice for a call), thats not a good one, because sometimes you have to depend on it.

RReyho0nThe hotel is in a good location and the sea view room which we reserved had a nice view of ocean. But, I need to mention that this hotel is not a 4 star hotel. The whole building is old and they kept it in an old fashion way. The bath is not good, they don't offer even water in daily service and neither tea. (which is expected from a four star hotel) The elevator is old and always full, really not suitable for an eleven floor building.

Walking opportunities are limited due to the steepness of the terrain but there’s a great path down to Curral do Freitas (45-60 minutes). Service was very good but the vegetarian food was not up to the standards that we expected. Good selection at breakfast but the hot breakfast is not kept warm. Nice jacuzzi and nice, small indoor pool.Certainly worth a visit but could be even better with better food as it’s a long way to the nearest restaurant. €3.35 bus from Funchal (No. 81) but check timetables carefully
