Ta Xua is the name of a mountain, the natural boundary between Son La and Yen Bai. The mountain peak is located in Ban Cong commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province. The mountain is 2,865m above sea level, the 13th highest mountain in our country. The best time to trek Ta Xua is from September to May next year, the dry season and has many beautiful landscapes. Possessing a sharp peak and not many large trees, the mountain will give you a 180o panoramic view. The road up the mountain is the challenge that many trekkers want to try. It is a dinosaur's spine with a narrow trail, many boulders blocking the way. Walking on the spine, you will experience the feeling of being immersed in the clouds and sky. The distance between people and the clear blue sky seems to be shorter than ever. To trek Ta Xua, you need 2 days and 1 night through the forest, climbing slopes with a distance of 24km.
