#traveldiaries Venchi Getaleria originates from Italy and they had their first outlet in Malaysia when TRX is completed, so we decided to give it a try. Price is set at RM33 for 2 flavours; 41 for three and 48 for four, so of course we chose the one with 4 flavours aince there are a total of four of us. There are around 20 plus flavours for us to choose from, and we chose pistachio, mango, tiramisu and berries. The gelato is very smooth and full of original flavour, and we can say that every flavour is really up to its standard. Go with more people to share out the price by ordering more flavours, is one of the best tactic to enjoy this luxurious ice cream.

This year, I had the pleasure of experiencing a delightful Ramadan dinner at Union Bistrot, TRX, a place that masterfully blends local flavors with global inspirations. With its contemporary interior and inviting ambience, the restaurant set the perfect tone for an evening of culinary exploration. A Flavorful Start The meal kicked off with an array of beautifully crafted appetizers that set high expectations for the night: • Kurma Krunch – A unique take on a traditional favorite, this dish featured a kurma (date) compote nestled in a peanut butter chocolate tart, offering a rich and indulgent start to the meal. • Shrimply Soto with Roti John – A clever fusion of flavors, this dish combined a mantou-style Roti John with shrimp Soto soup, topped with crispy fried Soo Hoon for a delightful crunch. • Murtabak – Taking a twist on the classic, the chicken murtabak was wrapped in Lobak skin and served alongside a chicken potato curry, creating a harmony of textures and flavors.
