Nakasu Yatai Fukuoka
#newyearnewtrip
A one of a kind and unique dining experience at Fukuoka would be their Yatai food street stalls along the Nakasu river. These small open air food stalls lined the nakasu river and you get to see boats cruising along, while you eat and drink. Yatai stalls are opened at around 6pm every evening till past midnight 2am, making it a very vibrant atmosphere and night life in Fukuoka Japan. Food here gets as authentic as it can get, expect stalls selling delicious Oden, kyushu style ramen and yakitori sticks, etc. Eat at these yatai stalls and have a good time as the stall owners will interact and entertain you. Prices are not reasonable here but it's more of the experience, you will be seated close to the next diner, rubbing shoulders with each other and food is not pretentious yet deliciously and freshly cooked and served in front of you. It can get busy here, so come here if you love lively places!
