#cityplaybook 30 minutes drive down from Kundasang Town through villages and vegetable gardens you will arrive at a place called Mini New Zealand. If you remember the Fernleaf milk advertisement then you will see the same situation here. Make sure your vehicle is in optimal condition because the topography of the road to get to this place really tests the condition of your vehicle. The journey starts from Kundasang Town by going down the hill to the valley below and after that you will climb a fairly steep and long hill to get here. It is called Mini New Zealand because it is home to a dairy farm that breeds Friesian cows like those found in New Zealand. However, it is not just dairy cows that are raised here, there are also goats that are raised together. With Mount Kinabalu as the backdrop and the lush green landscape, this place is often a focus for wedding photographers to capture beautiful memories of the bride and groom. Not least for those who make a study tour here to see the process of collecting cow's milk and packaging. If you are lucky, you can also see and experience the experience of milking cows in the cowshed. For those who like to drink fresh milk, this is the best place for you to visit not only because of the fresh milk but the price is much cheaper than in the market for the same milk. Recently visit to Sabah, Kundasang was a delightful journey into the heart of rural charm and natural beauty. Indeed so called “The Little New Zealand in such place was nestled amidst the rolling hills and the farm offered a picturesque escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Went over to Sabah Desa Dairy Farm would be complete without sampling its delicious dairy treats. I indulged in creamy gelato made from fresh milk, savoring each spoonful as I marveled at the farm-to-table journey of its ingredients. Was able to witness milking sessions to cheese making process. For those seeking adventure, the farm offered activities such as horse riding and feeding the calves, providing a hands-on experience that was both educational and enjoyable. The friendly staff were always on hand to offer guidance and share their knowledge of farm life.

The Desa Dairy Farm in Kundasang, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah offers a nice experience of the mountains, lush greens and personal interactions with the cows that are taken care of there. You can watch the milking process, feed the cows, eat ice cream made of the milk of the cows there, drink milk such as strawberry milk and chocolate milk. Their products are super tasty! I highly recommend bringing some home. If you want to come here, you must make an online reservation for your tickets earlier online. They don't accept walk-in requests.
