Nostalgic Old School Wet Market
Truly reminiscent of 80s Singapore, plastic chairs under canopies and little standalone hawker stores selling local delicacies. Motorcycles laden with snacks and candies and fresh seafood and meat stalls. Ah bee coffee store's kaya roti with penang white coffee is amazing and juicy shrimps with duck egg char kway teow, 9 ringgit at the corner. Must order with duck egg cos it's not found in SG. Visit in the morning because that's when the action starts also there is a big used book store on the 2nd floor that opens at 11am you can find many english children comic books that are still new and 1/3 the price of SG. Friendly uncle too.#penang
