👫Đây là lần đầu tiên tôi đến Glasgow. Sau đây là tuyến đường đi bộ được đề xuất trong trung tâm thành phố. If you’re in Edinburgh, consider taking a day trip to Glasgow via train (~ 1hr journey) to take in a new and different side of Scotland’s cities! Slide 1-6: Glasgow Cathedral - an absolute breathtaking monument, full of history and gorgeous architecture. It contains St Mungo’s burial, a crypt underground, and the effigy of Bishop Wishart. There are beautiful stained glass windows and information plaques that are worth your time reading. Donate if you can! Slide 7-14: Pollok Gardens, Highland Cattle Park - Just an hour outside of Glasgow, which you can reach via bus or train. This place alone could take hours to get through! There’s a flower garden and a cattle park hidden in the depths of the country park. Afterwards, you can return to the city centre and walk around Buchanan St. to do some shopping and eat soem delicious food before heading back via Glasgow Central station.

Visiting Glasgow in January offered a completely different kind of charm—quiet streets, crisp air, and a calm that lingered after the holiday rush. The festive decorations were still up in some parts of the city, gently fading, but the crowds were gone. It felt like the perfect time to explore at my own pace. I started my trip in George Square. Though the Christmas market had closed, the square still had a soft winter glow. The city felt slower, more introspective. I enjoyed walking along Buchanan Street, where the post-holiday sales were in full swing and buskers played mellow tunes that matched the mood of the season. One of my favorite stops was Glasgow Cathedral. The gothic architecture against the pale winter sky was stunning. Nearby, the Necropolis offered peaceful views of the city, and the silence made the experience even more powerful. The wind was cold, but refreshing—it kept me moving and awake. I also spent time along the River Clyde. The waters were still, and the reflections of the city’s bridges created a beautiful scene. On my last day, I visited Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. It was warm, colorful, and full of life—exactly what I needed before stepping back into the winter chill. January in Glasgow wasn’t loud or dramatic, but it was beautifully still. It gave me space to breathe, to walk, and to see the city without the noise of crowds. A peaceful beginning to a new year.

found the bus station to another destination.. planning day trip to Edinburgh which should be about 1 plus hours less then 2 hours to there .. need to go see the Edinburgh castle which will be the main purpose of me visiting UK. an eye opener for me as won't be able to see it in my own country ... it's so cooling here now in Glasgow and the people here are all so nice and friendly . will come back if i have a chance #relax
