The service inside the restaurant is very good with the waiting staff advising us on the level of spice that would suit us the most. #summerbreak Den Anker is a beautiful restaurant in the V&A waterfront area of Cape Town and is a great place to chill at the end of a long day. There are great views of the Table Mountain and the surrounding area is the harbour rather than the dock lands on the other side of the V&A. it has a very relaxing vibe. It’s nice to watch the yachts coming in to moor with a glass of wine! The staff are very attentive with free wifi that extends outside. #summerbreak Bilboa is a very upscale restaurant in Cape Town that specialises in a lot of seafood with great views. The restaurant has a lot of heat lamps as it can be quite cold in the winter but the staff do a good job of keeping everyone warm and comfortable. The breakfast menu at Geuwels restaurant on Vergenoegd Low is to die for, my family love it and the vibe is part of the reason we keep returning. The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday😑. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and peaceful, greenery every where, with an open lawn for kids to play on. The menu offers a variety of breakfast favourites, I love the lamb sausage and roosterkoek but everything we have ordered has been tasty and beautifully presented. #getgoing2025 We came out on the Hop On/Hop Off bus and spent about three hours at the winery. It is a very pleasant site. One can wander along the vineyards, walk through two museums, dine at your choice of restaurants (we had lunch at Simons' Restaurant and were very pleased), and have a wine tasting. The wine tasting allowed us to chose up to five wines; the pours were generous for a tasting and we were allowed to keep our glasses. The grounds are attractive; there is outdoor and indoor seating. It was a very relaxing experience.

This is one of the best places in cape town. The interiors are very interesting too. The atmosphere is unique and more of pub look ( although coffee house). The chairs are not comfortable ( giving more of a come and go fast vibe) , and the table has sharp edges. I didn't notice that the ceiling had hanging plugs until I hit my head on one. The waitress should have given the guest a warning about this or let them know where they can plug their electronics. #internationaltravel #capetown

Wine tasting in Franshoek, Amazing!

This restaurant is a total treat! The decor is beautiful and the earthy colour palette adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Everything we ordered was incredibly well prepared and the attention to details was very evident. The bill averaged 150 ZAR per person, which is pretty standard, but the quality of food and drink is top notch and great value. Besides food and drink you can buy all sorts of things from panty favourites to misc kitchen items. There is so much to look at and get lost in. I got a prime rib that was cooked to perfection! the manager walks around saying hello to everyone and asking how you are! The restuarant staff was slow, poorly managed and we waited for long. Granted it was a busy morning, people who came long after us were served before we were. The head waiter is rude, unfriendly and rasist. Avoid this terrible service...unless you want to get cold food, wait long and dissapointment. Knead should take action to train their staff. #summerbreak Jarryd’s is a very nice restaurant in Cape Town that is great for breakfast and brunch. We visited on a Monday morning and it was busy (the service was still very good) with tourists and locals. I had the Aussie scrambled eggs which was delicious. Mojo Magic is a big big must in Cape Town! It is a huge food hall that has many bars, restaurants and seating inside so that large groups can all find something that they like! It is situated near the sea front, which is a great location, and the band adds to the atmosphere.
