Thiền viện Trúc Lâm Chánh Giác is a Buddhist temple located in the Tiền Giang province of Vietnam. It is one of the largest temples in the country, and is known for its unique architecture and tranquil setting.
The temple was founded in 2012 by Thượng tọa Thích Thông Phương, a disciple of Hòa thượng Thiền sư Thích Thanh Từ, the founder of the Trúc Lâm Yên Tử Zen school. The temple is located on a 50-hectare plot of land, and is divided into two main areas: the nội viện (inner courtyard) and the ngoại viện (outer courtyard).
The nội viện is home to the main temple buildings, including the chánh điện (main hall), tổ đường (ordination hall), thiền đường (meditation hall), and giảng đường (lecture hall). The ngoại viện is home to a variety of other buildings, including a library, a museum, and a bell tower.
The temple is known for its distinctive architecture, which is a fusion of Vietnamese and Indian styles. The chánh điện is a large, two-story building with a golden roof and a bell-shaped tower. The tổ đường is a smaller, single-story building with a red roof and a pagoda-style tower.
