I discovered it via #cherryblossom25 and made the trip to Yokosuka just for this park — absolutely no regrets. There are about 2,000 cherry trees covering the hill, and from the top, you get a panoramic view of Tokyo Bay. It’s a bit of a hike to the summit, but the reward is stunning. The pink blossoms against the blue sea? Unreal. There were also a few quiet picnic spots where I sat down with a bento and just soaked it all in. The park wasn’t overcrowded, and I met some friendly locals who pointed out the best photo angles. Bonus: if you’re into naval history, the Mikasa battleship museum isn’t too far.
