See Seaplane on Sea

Flying into Maldives, a must try for seaplane if you can. It is a plane which can land on water (ocean) and fly into the air. It will land on a floating platform and you get transfer to your resort. Else it can also land directly at the resort’s deck. It is a small plane with 1-2 seating arrangement per row, kind of smaller seat width compared to an aeroplane. It can also be noisy with the engine rolling. In total, there are 3 staff on board, they are the pilot and co-pilot then you have the other staff at the back of the seaplane. S/he will be in-charge of docking the seaplane and arranging the luggage. Before the seaplane stop, s/he will alight from the plane and do the docking.
