Stepping into the art heaven @MOCA

MOCA, or Museum of Contemporary Art is one of the two largest museums in Bangkok. This place was built in 2012 with an area of more than 20,000 square meters and 5 floors of art space, divided into temporary and permanent exhibitions. This place displays paintings, sculptures, and multimedia art, there are more than 800 artworks by Thai master artists. MOCA is quite far from central Bangkok. It is located on the way to Don Mueang International Airport. You can easily recognize the museum from afar with its outstanding height and architectural design. The works on display at MOCA were all collected by Mr. Boonchai Bencharongkul, the museum's owner. These works are mainly about the customs and traditions of Thailand. Each floor displays various pieces of art with different themes and stories. The highlight of this museum is the arrangement of paintings and lighting. It will definitely make you feel comfortable and satisfied right from the entrance to the last exhibition room. After finishing with the art exhibition areas, you can go down to ground floor to taste some drinks from their coffee shop, or shop for art souvenirs to bring back home before leaving the museum.
