Explore Everest Base Camp

#holidayseason Actually, base camp is the first stop on the journey to Mount Everest. Currently, there are 2 EBC points located in 2 different countries. The first is South Base Camp, the southern base camp with an altitude of 5,364m in Nepal. The second is North Base Camp, the northern base camp with an altitude of 5,150m in Tibet, China. Perhaps EBC Nepal is more familiar to Vietnamese trekkers, because the procedures are simple, information is easier to find than the remaining route. Everest Base is 5,364 m high, the first point that must be overcome for those who want to conquer Everest. Next are the transit stations Camp I at 5,900m high, C(II) at 6,400m high, C(III) at 7,500m high and C(IV) at 7,950m high. The EBC trekking route usually lasts only 11 days, while to conquer Everest you need about 2 months. Located at an altitude of 5364m, the amount of oxygen surrounding the top of EBC is only 1/3 of that near sea level. This is a difficulty for climbers, because they do not have enough oxygen to breathe. As we know, the human body has its limits and we cannot withstand altitudes above 6000m. Therefore, the journey to EBC will be more dangerous as you go higher. Near the top, you will feel the air getting thinner. If you are not a professional trekker, you will quickly reach your limit. Moreover, you may face damage from frostbite. At this altitude, your heart will require your body to work harder to be able to pump blood throughout the body.
