Margalla Hills Hiking Trail #3

The most famous and old hiking trail of Islamabad. Trail 3. It starts from the Margalla road sector F-6. There is a paking lot with plenty of space at the trailhead or you can easily take Uber. The trail is a real workout but worth the views to be sure. There are two different paths, the fire trail and the regular route. The fire trail is difficult although fun and only takes maybe an hour and a half to Monal Restaurant at the top. The longer path is easier going and takes 2-3 hours to Monal. If you are not used to hiking or strenuous activity then I would advise against the fire trail, but if you are up for the challenge it is the best way. Bring water and snacks as it is hot and strenuous.
