Harbin Snow & Ice Festival

As I am writing this trip moment, I can feel the -20 degrees celsius on me. I flew directly from Singapore to Harbin before the pandemic. I am glad that I live my dream and take that trip. Now I want to revisit Harbin also difficult because of the restrictions. The snow and ice festival playground was the highlight for me. I went twice and I took the local tour signed up directly from the hotel I was staying. It was (by then) known as Ibis Hotel at Sophia Church. I had a lot of time and it was winter, it is better to cater a lot of time to travel. By 4/5pm, the sky was dark and it was best to arrive at the festival playground before dark. Then you can admire the ice sculptures under the sun and the illumination at night.
