Glorious Grasmere

The Lake District village of Grasmere made famous by the romantic poet William Wordsworth is perhaps the most beautiful in all of the National park. The lake itself projects a glorious blue colour when framed by the summer’s sunshine and a walk around the centre will bring you across delights such as the Daffodil Garden, the Gingerbread shop and Wordsworth’s cottage amongst the usual cafe and souvenir shops.
