Intercontinental Raffles City 🇨🇳 Chongqing

#staycation Well the intercontinental Raffles City in Chongqing is pretty special. It's a landmark building in the city and the deck on the 42nd floor is full of excellent bars and restaurants. After being in Chongqing for 10 weeks and seeing the hotel from every angle before we returned home to Shanghai , we had to stay and try it out. So we booked for out 5th wedding anniversary and the hotel, made it as special as they could. Zoe and Doris welcomed us to the hotel executive lounge on arrival, so that we could wait for check in with a wonderful view, a variety of drinks and an afternoon tea style buffet to choose a few snacks from. Check-in took around an hour and once we were complete the hotel had prepared some cool surprises for us! Cake 🍰 Wine 🍷 Upgraded room 🏨 Cute artwork painted on the winder 🖌️ Excellent breakfast in the Botanica Restaurant 🍽️ Access to the pool, gym and sauna 🏊 Free VIP COVID testing too. (Honestly seems small, but a great addition) 6-8 Pm complimenta Cocktails 🍸🍹 We loved the stay and used lots of the Amenities, before having a lovely Dinner at the Jing restaurant and a cocktail in the outdoor Shua bar. Doris and Zoe kept checking in with us throughout the stay to see if there was anything we needed and they gave us a couple post card keepsakes too. I'd definitely recommend a #staycation here!
