Ong Chua Waterfall

#vietnam Thác Ong Chúa is located in Nhìu Cồ San village, Sàng Ma Sáo commune, Bát Xát district, Lào Cai province. It is part of the trekking route to Nhìu Cồ San peak, the ninth highest mountain in Vietnam (2965m). The mountain is also known as Sừng Trâu (Buffalo Horns) because of its distinctive shape. The area has a diverse and rich nature with a variety of plants and animals, and a scenery that can make anyone’s heart skip a beat. To reach Thác Ong Chúa, you have to overcome a long and difficult road of about 7 km to Nhìu Cồ San village. From there, you will continue your journey through the forest, crossing steep and rocky slopes, and passing through pristine wilderness before seeing the stunning waterfall. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the old forest of Bát Xát, Lào Cai. The wilderness, mystery and sacredness of the forest will make your journey more interesting. Especially in autumn, you will see the trees change their colors to yellow and red, contrasting with the dark green of the mountains. Every breeze will blow away the golden leaves, creating a poetic and romantic scene like a movie. Thác Ong Chúa has a magnificent and poetic beauty that will not disappoint you. The waterfall falls from a high cliff of hundreds of meters, creating a white spray that cools the air. The water hits the rocks and then splashes up again. The rocks have become smooth due to the erosion of water over time. The water forms natural pools that are so clear that you can easily see the stones at the bottom. The sound of the waterfall is loud and echoing, creating a unique melody of the forest that never stops. In the rainy season, the water flows more strongly, dividing into several streams. Standing near the waterfall, you will feel small and humble, as if you are embraced and comforted by Mother Nature. Right at the foot of the waterfall, you can feel the freshness and purity that it brings. The water flow is not too strong, creating conditions for mosses to grow. Sometimes, you can also catch sight of beautiful wild orchids that adorn the waterfall. From afar, Thác Ong Chúa looks like a soft platinum hair, flowing freely.
