Cozy time at Caturday Cat Cafe

Caturday Cat Cafe is a cat cafe in Bangkok that is popular among locals and tourists thanks to its location in the downtown area that just a few minutes walk from Ratchathewi BTS station. The first thing that catched my eyes when I came here was not the felines but the lively and elegant decoration of the cafe. The shop is decorated with nice pictures and paintings of cute cats on the wall and some other cat-friendly features like cat walkways, cat trees... Such a cozy place to visit😍 This place can get crowded easily, especially during the weekend, so you may have to wait for a bit. Luckily, when I came here, there was a window seat available, so I didn't have to wait. There are a sink and shoe racks for you to wash your hands and leave your shoes before coming inside. You can sit either on the floor cushion or chairs, whichever is available. On the table, you can see their set of rules you need to follow and a cute menu in the form of a photo album with cat images on it and a variety of choices for cakes, coffee, snacks, drinks and hot meals. For me some items are a bit expensive compared to other places. While waiting for your orders, you can walk around to pet and play with the cats here. The shop has around 40 cats of different breeds, all of them are very healthy and well-treated. You can find playful ones that love running around while there are some calmer cats that love hiding under the table and sleeping. They have lots of cat toys for you to have fun with the cats and also cat snack for sale, so you can buy one to feed them and catch their attention. Note that when you have your order ready, pay attention to it or else some curious cats might eat it up before you can even try😄 If you can travel with kids, I'm pretty sure they will love this cafe. Overall, this is must-visit place to add to your Bangkok itinerary.
