This hotel is quite charming—it’s a large, old house that has been nicely converted into several hotel rooms. Our room was very comfortable. However, a heads-up regarding the bathroom: there was no door on the toilet area, and the shower was an all-glass enclosure. Since I was traveling with my husband, it wasn't an issue for us, but if you are traveling with friends, you might want to be aware of this lack of privacy. The location is excellent! It’s right next to the City Wall and super close to several great restaurants and cool bars. We also liked the service; the staff were quite attentive. One thing I found confusing, though, was that they didn't register my address as per the usual government standard for foreign guests, which most hotels in China follow. As for cleanliness, it was standard for China—there were a few stray hairs in parts of the room (usually women's hair), but I find this happens in practically any hotel here. Overall, it was a good stay!

TTài khoản kháchTôi đã đặt chỗ sau khi đọc các đánh giá tốt trên mạng. Tôi không ngờ nó lại tốt đến vậy. Đi bộ 50 mét từ lối vào đường đá và rẽ trái. Phòng rộng rãi và phong cách cổ điển của Trung Quốc rất phù hợp với thị trấn cổ. Chỉ mất 5 phút để đi bộ đến khu vực thịnh vượng nhất của khu danh lam thắng cảnh. Dịch vụ rất chu đáo và người đặc biệt đón và trả khách. Tất cả các vật dụng đều có chất lượng cao. Ngoài ra còn có Coke, Sprite và nước suối Nongfu miễn phí mỗi ngày. Được trang bị các khách sạn năm sao. Ngâm mình trong bồn tắm lớn rất sảng khoái sau một ngày đi bộ.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

TTài khoản kháchBan đầu chúng tôi đặt phòng cỡ lớn rẻ nhất, nhưng phòng cỡ lớn đó nằm ở tầng một hướng ra đường và vẫn rất ồn ào vào ban ngày. Vì muốn ngủ trưa nên tôi đã trả thêm tiền n*** tại chỗ để nâng cấp lên phòng có giường tròn ở tầng ba, phía trong. Phố cổ Nam Tầm khá yên tĩnh vào ban đêm, nhưng rất ồn ào vào buổi trưa và buổi chiều. Nếu bạn muốn ngủ trưa như tôi, đừng đặt phòng đôi rẻ nhất. Ưu điểm của phòng ngủ tròn ở tầng 3 là rất yên tĩnh. Nhược điểm là giường tròn không có đầu giường nên không tiện lắm khi dựa vào giường và chơi điện thoại. Tiện nghi trong phòng không quá mới nhưng mức độ vệ sinh khá tốt. Không có thang máy nên bạn phải mang hành lý lên cầu thang. Vị trí của khách sạn này khá tốt, tôi nghĩ nó nằm ở trung tâm của Phố cổ Nam Tầm, và khá gần Bạch Kiến Lâu và một số ngôi nhà cổ ở phía Nam.
