The place was quiet and peaceful. The room was very clean and simple. The location is very convenient as it is walking distance to the national forest park.

We had an amazing time. The owner was very kind and helpful, he helped us to plan the 2 day itinerary to the park and avoid all the crowd. The communication with a translator on the phone was smooth. We had breakfast and diner at his place and could even choose the vegetables we wanted to eat from his garden! It's a guest house more than a hotel, the owner and his wife live there too and we like the atmosphere. The taxi took us until the top of the hill, the park entrance it's 10 min walking down by the stairs, and on the way back you have to go up (15min walking). Being up the hill you have a beautiful view and it's really calm. Thank to him and his wife, we had an amazing experience of Zhangjiaje ! Thanks 😊

the place feels like grandma's house, warm, calm and smells like fresh baked bread.. antie is nice and helpful, she'll provide you with a convenient itinerary and the place is a few minutes walk from the south gate, and if you arrived late in the day you can do the golden whip stream walk. Had a great stay.

If you’re planning to visit Zhangjiajie National Park, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk from the South Gate entrance, making it incredibly convenient. The house sits atop a hill, so just be prepared for a fairly long staircase on the way up. However, the peaceful surroundings and amazing views make it worth the climb. This is a family-run guesthouse, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They can even prepare meals with fresh ingredients from their garden – I had dinner here once, and it was delicious! The rooms are simply furnished, but everything was spotlessly clean, and I slept well every night. Overall, it’s an excellent value for the price, especially for the location and warm hospitality.

Loved my stay at this peaceful, simple hotel. This is the perfect place for the traveler wanting hiking, lovely views, and a quiet setting. Each morning I enjoyed tea on the patio with a view of the Mountains overlooking a garden and revine filled with birds! see picture. It was a .25-mile walk down the community stairs and another .25 miles through the community, with a couple of restaurants, to the South entrance of the park. The south gate entrance has NO lines, a nice convenience store, and some of the best hikes in the park- one flat along a river and one straight up, both with amazing views. However, the reason for fewer people is the bus service from this gate is limited. The hotel is more of a homestay. The simple room has all the basic, large bed and on-suite bathroom. The tall ceilings and a window give the room a larger feel. This is not your place if you are planning to ride the bus in the park, want a busy nightlife or western toilets.

For me this place is a big No ! It’s far to expensive for what it is. Cny 78 for a room and chinese squats toilet. It’s winter with close to zero 0 temperatures and the host did not let me use the AC / heater! Walls are dirty and the location is very inconvenient. If you have a backpack it’s easy but with luggage- it was difficult. No direct street access. Walking up many steep stairs with all luggages from the city street and when one is for up to 6 month in China between school location hopping - one has a little more luggage. Big plus. Old couple are very helpful, sweet and friendly and helped with the luggage. But they did not know how to do the check in. They don’t provide water to drink - usually all places provide 2 small bottles. They did not offer any dinner nor breakfast - even for extra charge. No real farm experience where you can taste any farm dishes. All in all. To expensive ! Plus. Bathroom is even sharing with another room. It’s a big no. Got that price !

The room was okay. There's no elevator. I was disappointed that they didn't provide drinking water and suggested that I boil unfiltered tap water.

The host is nice, works at park, self check in available by appointment. Strategic located outside south gate, accept foreigner. Best for hiking lover, book 3 nights to explore all scenic area, without cableway, zero cost as advised by the host, highly recommended.

自然人家民宿推開大門便是美麗山景，伴有小溪流水，夏蟲鳴叫，院子裏有果蔬，住慣都市的人適合帶着長者，小朋友體驗一下，鄉間風情，我的老爸七十四歲特別喜歡這裏，房間安靜，安全，乾淨性價比極高，位置在武陵源森林公園南門步行最多15～20分鐘，需要提醒鄉間小路如有行李箱可能不太方便推拉有坡度，所以可以和老闆致電可以協助你提拿，店家樸實友善周到，但是對住宿要求高的寶要慎重選擇這是民宿就是體驗當地人鄉土風情，山景小溪鄉情，新鮮的空氣，更便捷的出入武陵源森林公園南門景區，但完全不能與度假酒店配置或中端連鎖酒店標準衞生，設施，商務環境相比，另外如果需要使用空調個別房間會加少許空調費，我帶長者所以沒有需要空調，8月中山間徬晚涼風怡人也不需要空調，房間自來水就是山泉地下水清涼甘甜，適合與對預算控制節儉的性價比極高的需求顧客羣，體驗鄉村田園風光，附近步行15分鐘很多餐廳選擇豐儉由人，入住需要交五十元房卡按金，退房退還。店家人樸實善良所以極力推薦。

客棧在半山腰，幾分鐘就可以下山到公路上，走十分鐘左右就到南門了。晚上睡覺非常安靜，有蛐蛐叫，山上很涼快，不需要吹空調，天快亮時還聽到雞打鳴🐓，久違的感覺，睡的最好的一晚。窗外是老闆種的菜，家的味道，比住酒店舒服多了。 早上老闆給煮的西紅柿雞蛋麪，10元一碗，味道不錯。退房時老闆還幫忙把行李箱🧳拿到山腳下，熱情質樸，祝老闆生意興隆，日子越過越美！

設施：齊全乾凈有大窗户 可以聽見蟲鳴 衞生：條件好 衞生間是蹲坑 環境：清幽淡雅 與大自然親密接觸 服務：服務態度很好質量很好 但是地方口音重

優點:1.離景區門口近，步行10-15分鐘；2.晚上非常安靜，早上可以聽小鳥叫，空氣好；3.老闆熱心講解路線很仔細，推薦遊玩規劃也不錯缺點:1.打的的話非常不好找，而且最後一段路很陡，司機不願意開進去；2.可能是四川人的緣故，覺得老闆煮的麪🍜，實在是不好吃，10元每碗也不算貴（麪+煎蛋一個）3.包託運到北門收了每個包我們30元，共150元（我在網上看到説收取的是20元）我以為漲價了也沒問老闆，後來我住北門老鴉山民宿包託運是20元一個，而且託運得很遠從北門到張家界市區

非常好，老闆娘還帶我看了內部演出，是我住過最乾淨的，服務也非常到位，有家的感覺，離景區非常近，走路十分鐘就能到，並且老闆會提供路線攻略，非常詳細，老闆娘是景區工作人員，剛退休

酒店乾淨衞生，涼快，安靜，離南門口近，入園方便，店主每天下午摘自己家的農家菜為我們做好晚飯，我們游完回來就吃，很有家的感覺，並且和外面餐館比較便宜不止一點兩點，非常滿意的入住，我們一連住了3天，最後一天本來可以走的，都住了第二天才走，五星五好評！對於本次入住，必須要給個好評
