Yishu Yihua Inn (zhangjiajie national forest park sentimental store)

for the price you pay, you really can't ask for more! the location is a little further away from the east gate but you can easily get Didi to go there for RMB6. The hotel is location up a small slope though, so beware if you have someone in the group where climbing maybe a problem - that being said, this is nothing compared to the amount of walk in the national forest anyway lol. hotel owners are very nice - they helped with booking cheaper attraction tickets, provide great suggestion on the visit routes and they even send breakfast to me room every morning! I'd recommend this hotel.

A cosy Inn and within 10mins walking distance to Wuling Road and Xibu Old Street. The owner and his team are friendly and helpful. They also able to get cheaper National Park entrance tickets that can be linked to passport and access the scenary areas using face recognition, which is convenient. Room is well equipped and has heater, which is suitable esp during my winter trip. TV is not functioning but luckily we have data roaming to watch own Netflix. Breakfast is simple, which is expected for Inn. Traveller need to note that accessing the Inn has to climb steep slope, hence those who has walking difficulty may find it challenging. Still recommending the Inn to others.

The service was amazing. The owners were so kind seeing that we had a young child with us. Breakfast was noodles and each time the amount was huge. Even gave us an extra small bowl for our daughter - one day they even gave her a banana and another day they gave her yogurt 🥰 The bed was very comfy and we slept like babies. The only part that needs improvement is the washroom. There was some mold probably because the shower door doesn’t close. There were massive gaps between the shower door and the glass wall and water just sprayed everywhere. Also the shower hand held handle was hot and cold so don’t use that one. The rain shower head was fine. We never got our hand drawn map despite me asking for one but they did help us buy tickets. Not sure if it was actually cheaper or not but it was convenient for them to help us. Bottled water, toothbrush, and a shower cap was provided. They changed our towels and threw out our garbage every day when we went out. Wonderful stay overall!

Good service and location for family stay. Also good location for travelers to the famous Zhangjiajie Scenic Mountains.

I had an incredible experience at this hotel! The location is perfect—just a short distance from the National Park, which made exploring the stunning scenery incredibly easy. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and always available to assist with anything we needed. From helping us with park ticket bookings to recommending delicious local dishes, they truly went above and beyond. The breakfast was fantastic, with delicious home-cooked options that made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and the owners really made our stay memorable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie—it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area!
