Aeolos Boutique Hotel and Suites

This has to be the best hotel we have ever stayed in. All the staff were amazingly hard working, friendly and polite, and a real credit to the owners. The a**osphere was extremely relaxed, no loud music playing all the time, and everyone including the guests seemed calm and happy. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, the breakfast was the best we have had in a hotel. What more can we say? Go there, you will not regret it.

Even though we are very familiar with the famous Greek hospitality, we were still blown away by the amazing owners and employees of this hotel. Never in my life have I felt this welcome, at home, and cared for during my stay in a hotel. The bar and pool area are beautiful, and they serve some great cocktails. The room we stayed in was quite big, and even though it was nothing too fancy, it had everything we needed. More importantly, it was very clean, the free AC did it’s job, and the bed was comfy. The bathroom and shower where modern and pleasant to use, clean towels everyday if that’s what you want. While I’m sure that you can find similar looking hotels on the island if you look hard enough, the absolutely amazing hosts elevated the experience to a level that I’m convinced no one can match! We ran into some medical issues and I don’t have the words to describe how thankful we where for the genuine care and attention provided to us. These people are available 24/7 to do whatever is necessary if the situation calls for it. This same level of care for their guests can be found in everything they offer. Booking your room at this hotel means that you’ll have a carefree vacation, whatever your wishes may be. You want to find a nice place to eat that isn’t a tourist trap, they hook you up. You want to rent a boat, they arrange the best experience you can have. And you can always expect a warm welcome when you walk through the front gate after a long day of exploring the island. If you plan to stay on Zakynthos, do yourself a favor and book a room at this hotel. I guarantee you won’t regret it. it was a big part of the reason our stay on the island will be a cherished memory for the rest of our lives. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

A beautiful small, boutique hotel. Such a quiet and relaxing place to have a holiday. If you want a quiet hotel, a small pool area with 20 sun beds, a bar that you can sit in and just listen to the background music while reading a book or playing backgammon then this place is for you! The staff are all lovely and so helpful. A day here is……… Breakfast was fine with ample choice, from a cooked English to fresh fruit. Again, no rush to find a seat. Served 8-10am. They do a lunch menus in the bar from 11-4pm which we had a couple of times, all good and freshly cooked. No evening food, however we did see the delivery driver from Tazies takeaway dropping food off a couple of times, so you can eat in the bar if you order a takeaway (Tazies is a great, cheap place to eat, in or out). The pool area is just right, 20 sun beds, give or take, plenty of umbrellas and free balls, floats and inflatables around to use. Never a problem getting a sun bed and no towel dash at 6am! The walk to the beach is about 20-30 mins. If you don’t want to stay by the pool. If you go out for dinner, the main ***** is no more than a 20 minute walk, where you’ll find plenty of choice. In the hotel bar, you can charge things to your room, which saved faffing with money and accumulating lots of coins. I dont drink much, so the bottle of wine I bought, was put in the fridge with my name on and I just asked for a glass of it when I wanted it. The cocktails we had were lovely! The rooms are perfectly fine. Good aircon, which is needed when it didn’t drop below 30 degrees at night! The room we had was classed as a premium suite. Nice decor, modern, with a safe. Found the bed comfy. We logged into our own Netflix account to watch a couple of movies on a night or there was a bbc news channel. There was a small fridge, enough for water and a few cans. No cooking facilities. There was a kettle but that was it as far as kitchen facilities went. Bar closed at midnight but honestly it was always so quiet, that you wouldn’t know if it was open or closed. All in all a very quiet and relaxed place to stay!

The Aeolos Hotel really is the perfect blend of kindness and calm. It is set surrounded by beautiful trees plants and flowers, giving the swimming pool and surrounding area shade and a natural breeze. The accommodation is spacious, well laid out and clean, it is cleaned on a daily basis and linen and towels changed. The incredibly hard working owner and staff Alex, Abi and Maria are some of the kindest people you will ever meet, they cannot do enough to help you with anything you need or want. The breakfast has every possible choice, English cooked breakfast, continental breakfast, Greek choices (superb Greek yoghurt) fresh fruit, honey, jams, preserves. and cold meat and cheeses to mention just a few. It’s location is excellent and easy to reach, Kalamaki beach, which is sandy and flat is excellent for children and has a very gradual wade out into the sea allowing children to play in shallow water. Aeolos is a very short walk to various Restaurants and bars, serving many different choices of cuisine. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and we have just spent a wonderful two weeks holiday here and look forward to returning soon.

What a lovely hotel. The staff amazing and hotel peaceful, pool fabulous, no towel saving sunbeds. Bed and breakfast, breakfast lovely, plenty of choice and high standards. Snack meals available until 4pm, they are well prepared and delicious. Lovely on site bar open until midnight, no loud music or bothersome entertainment. Rooms spotless, pillows amazing, bed sooo very comfy. We were put in family apar**ent, upstairs with a huge wraparound balcony, it was super, the only thing that would have improved it was some sunshades or umbrellas as extremely hot. Would highly recommend this hotel. A 5 minute walk to the village with a good selection of the usual shops and restaurants. Beach about a 10minute walk, but well worth it. We hired a quad for the week and had a great time exploring.

A beautiful hotel , ran by a lovely group of people . We stayed in a superior suite and were very impressed with the standard . The breakfasts were gorgeous and very well presented by a lovely lady who was so friendly and helpful 😊 The food available was well priced and always delicious . The pool area was well kept, and there was no reserving of sunbeds whilst we were there . Also very peaceful so a great place to fully relax . Only a short walk to the main area where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops to visit . Would definitely recommend it, and we plan to return at some point . The Aeolos Hotel is a true haven of tranquility, exuding a warm and welcoming a**osphere. The owner, the glamorous Joanna, also brings her expertise from her beauty business, adding a touch of beauty and elegance to the surroundings. Upon our arrival, Joanna and her family greeted us with open arms, making us feel right at home. Although our stay was brief, it was truly exceptional. The grounds are home to roaming cats and peacocks, and even when I lost my way, the friendly farmer next door came to my rescue. The bar serves drinks that are worth every penny, expertly mixed and absolutely delicious. Breakfast offers a superb array of Greek options. We didn’t have the chance to dine in the restaurant, but we heard it’s one of the most highly regarded on Zakynthos. Our room was nothing short of stunning and provided a sense of security that allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our stay. The resort itself is a peaceful and quiet oasis, perfect for a relaxed nighttime vibe. Additionally, there are numerous good restaurants and tour operators in the vicinity, with the Navagio Beach trip being an absolute must. Our time at Aeolos Hotel was nothing short of a delightful experience

We stayed at the Aeolos Boutique hotel for 10 nights during Sept. We received a warm welcome when checking in and received excellent service during our stay. Our room was towards the rear fo the complex on the ground floor. It was spacious and had an extremely comfortable bed. The air con, safe and fridge were included in the price which is definetely something to take into consideration as the vast majority of complexes will charge extra for these amenities. The air con was particularly appreciated and worked well. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of hot or cold options and of good quality. Likewise any lunches/drinks we had were excellent and of similar price to what you would pay in the main resort. The pool area was very pretty and there were no issues regarding a lack of sun beds when we stayed. The complex is only a 2 minute walk to the end of the main ***** and start of the old road. We'd be more than happy to stay here again.

Ahhh such a great holiday. The hotel was really nice, our room was decorated lovely. So chilled and the relaxed the staff can’t do enough for you. It was probably the best bit of the holiday to be honest.
