A lovely stay again at the Queens Hotel, was even able to check in early as our room was ready. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing hotel with amazing views right next to the river. Very clean, friendly staff. The hotel however could do with an upgrade of facilities. It’s situated in a very convenient location. Highly recommend and would love to come back.

Lovely hotel. Staff are all amazing and the breakfast was lovely too. In a perfect location near the river but also great for our trip to York Barbican. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying for three days for my solo trip at York. The room was quite big and yet old, without air conditioner but an old heater and fan. The taps were separated hot water and cold water, and yet the hot water was either not hot enough or very hot. It was closed to those key spots so I could reach them on foot, and yet there was a pub right opposite to the hotel, so it would be a bit noisy at night time. Breakfast buffet was acceptable for its price.

Fabulous location.Right next to river. Plenty of eating places & small supermarkets nearby. Super helpful friendly staff day & night. Adequate facilities for disabled guests. Beds & pillows super comfy. Cooked breakfast buffet ample & delicious. Really enjoyed my stay & the help I received. Thank you.

great location, not in the city centre but very close. friendly staffs. just remember to close the window before you go to bed. we saw at least 5 spiders outside the window. not a problem if you are not afraid of insects tho. there is a fan inside the room so dont worry that it will be too hot if you close the window.

The hotel was a bit of old but the room was big. It was comfortable ＆ was situated near railway station about 13 minutes. The breakfast was good. The wifi was poor.

In a great location and easy to access. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel and room was clean throughout. Breakfast was very nice.

Excellent location, literally a few minutes walk from the major attractions in York city centre and the train station. The room was very clean and spacious with everything we needed. Very friendly staff let us check in slightly earlier and were really helpful, we could even leave our bags after checking out to save carrying them about all day. The bathroom was a little dated but very clean and had a hairdryer and bath which we like. Child bed was a little low on the ground but functional. The hotel felt very safe as the staff seemed to be around all the time. The bar was nice and calm with lovely views of the river. Plenty little shops such as a little Sainsbury's right around the corner for any supplies. For the money it was excellent and had everything we needed.

The hotel's cleanliness so far so good, but the equipment is not good enough and it is a request counter if you need to use it (such as slipper, toothbrush etc). For the location, it is good for the visitor to walk around York City as very close to the York City center. The service was very good and the staff very nice.

Hotel is in a convenient position, far from the nightlife. ideal if you are looking for quietness. structure is ok, we didn't try the breakfast since it was not included.

Lovely hotel, staff were great! Breakfast was lovely and there was a great choice. The only thing that stops this hotel from getting full marks is that although the rooms were very clean, there was a faint smell of cigarettes in the room and the beds and bedding also had a faint smell too! We were rather uncomfortable with this being non smokers!

Stayed 2nights bed and breakfast , sited within minutes walking distance of York centre , hotel was clean , staff very helpful, very pleased with breakfast provided, everything you would expect, will definitely be staying again .

Good location. Breakfast time need to book as the seat is limited.
