Great Trails Yercaud by GRT Hotels

The rooms are neat, cozy with a breathtaking view everyone would enjoy. Perfect holiday stay with your family with lot of activities to spend your time together. Friendly staffs will enrich your experience. The food offered is great. Probably the resort with one of the best locations in yercaud.

The rooms were amazing, Spacious and it had a beautiful valley view. The hospitality is great. The rooms were cleaned twice a day.. it has a wonderful spa with an exclusive area. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. This is a must if you are visiting Yercaud

Our experience here at Great Trails was amazing .. We stayed in Valley View and the view was amazing. Rooms were very neatly maintained. All the staff were very humble and were always ready to help. I had a last moment request to decorate our room as it was our 15th year anniversary, it was a surprise for my husband .. They agreed and did an awesome job. My husband really liked it .. Breakfast was very tasty and had lots of options. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return again..

As the word goes, it is definitely the best (or at least better than the rest) place in Yercaud. Beautiful views from each room, courteous staff, and a nice property. Yercaud is a small place with not much to do, so it's worth it to invest in a good property with a view to stay, rather than stay in the town. Stay: We were a group and took 5 valley view rooms. The rooms are super comfortable, well-appointed, and the balconies are spacious with jaw-dropping views of the valley. My favorite was the lights of Salem at night! The Hotel: The hotel is perfectly located outside the hustle and bustle of the town. Situated at the edge of the incredible Shevroy hills, it has the best views from almost everywhere on the property. The property has some activities, which the kids especially will enjoy. The Cons: 1. The price, as you might feel, is indeed pretty steep, and yet the property misses the wow factor. Compared to others in town, it's at least double the price, sometimes going up to almost 20k per night in summer! So, I feel the value proposition to justify the price is not quite there. The view is definitely one of it's biggest pulls. 2. The food is above average at best. Should focus on bringing in more local cuisine. However Balaji is a delight! 3. The staff is very hardworking but undertrained. It's important for them to receive the adequate focus to keep up with the every changing trends of global hospitality. Summarizing, if you are a well-traveled person who stays at international hotel chains, you will find shortcomings. An alternative is passing over operations to Radisson like some of the other GRT hotel properties. Overall, we had more than just a pleasant stay and enjoyed the holiday a lot! Special mention to the PRO who jumped into action when there was a medical emergency. He not only ensured medical assistance from the on-call doctor but also facilitated a visit to the hospital when required. Give it up to Team GRT Yercaud for an ultra comfortable stay! I will surely be back...

Our stay at Great Trails surpassed all expectations, offering a delightful combination of relaxation, fun-filled indoor activities, and exceptional hospitality. From the moment we stepped into the resort, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who ensured our check-in was swift and seamless. The lobby exuded a cozy ambiance, setting the stage for what would be a memorable stay. Key highlights of the resort were the thoughtful provision of complimentary snacks, Indoor games, Gym, adventure activities, camp fire with music in the evening, Upper deck view of Salem city, infinity swimming pool, Restaurant with good and health food, Skywalk - Glass bridge. The accommodations were equally impressive. Our room was spacious with scenic views that greeted us each morning. Overall, our experience at Great Trails was refreshing and rejuvenated. Thank you Great trails Team - Mr. Sakthivel and his entire team of staffs for their excellent service and hospitality

OMG! My 2nd time in GRT Yercaud and they never fail to impress me. Mr. Senthil and Mr. Sakthivel hospitality made me awestruck. Chef Siva gave happy tummy with every bite, with carefully cooked food. His hands does magic with the food...They don't reuse oils and pick high quality ingredients. Can't mention just 1 item, all were so tempting. Abitha and Rajakumari were very very helpful ***** with the boys there. Room services were on time, room cleaning was done really well with clean towels and toiletries. A number of events around and if you have a gang, enjoy their cricket area, pool is really nice, variety spa from their menu which is really relaxing. Overall, I am highly pleased with GRT great trails, yercaud and I WILL stay here everytime I visit yercaud with friends or family.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the GRTrails Wayanad and had opted for Estate Villa Balcony. Room: The room was beautiful, spacious and well stocked with essentials. Housekeeping staff is responsive and efficient. View from the room: I was told that rooms don’t have an expansive view of the valley etc. However, the view that we got was of the reception / main building entrance so we rarely sat out to enjoy a cup of tea during the rain! We were provided with complimentary early check in and hence we didn’t fuss over it. I would urge GRT to let the guests know what they would be compromising on in case of an early check in. We stayed in room 206! Food: Breakfast was part of the tariff. The menu (veg) was limited and did not stand out. The breads were stale. Breakfast was just about okay. We had ordered buffet dinner one evening and the experience was the same. Having said that, we had ordered dinner one evening and the food was delicious. So looks like their à la carte is better than buffet. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would recommend GRTrails Wayanad to our family and friends.
