Ephesia Holiday Beach Club

We stayed at the Ephesia Holiday Beach Club for 1 week in September 23. We booked a Superior double swim up room. This was a nice sized room with comfortable bed. Walk in shower. Safe, fridge , kettle and Aircon provided. Wifi seemed to have fair coverage around the hotel – a bit slow but free. The pool outside the room was not private and could be used by any guests and had no shallow part (1.4m). There are other swim up rooms in the Family Pool which appeared to have their own small areas. Food was ok – available in the Sunset buffet restaurant which was always quite busy and seating was sometimes an issue. Also snack bars (Burgers, pizza etc) at lunchtime. The themed restaurants season ended when we arrived so couldn’t try those. Alcohol seemed ok – lager taps advertised Efes but not so sure it was. Drinks were served in plastic coated paper cups which went soggy (although the bar upstairs in the La Veranda restaurant was still open and they used glasses). Plenty of bottled water provided in various fridges around the hotel. The hotel is right on the sea front. Ideal location to watch some impressive sunsets. There is a small beach which made a nice change to sitting around the pool however it was a bit dirty with litter and cigarette ends. We wasn’t really interested in evening entertainment at the ampitheatre (see photo of activities board). Not much outside the hotel – a few shops, couple of places to eat and at the top of the road (5 min walk) is an indoor Bazaar selling fake handbags / clothes etc. Nothing really wrong here but it’d be nice if they gave the beach a rake over, replace the cracked plastic chairs outside the restaurant / pool bar and used an alternative to the paper cups. All in all we had a good relaxed week in the sun staying at the Ephesia. We would return if there’s a deal on.

I Love the personal they are young and the best people i have ever seen here in Turkey.Im here in the hotel for 3rd time and i love it a lot!You will really need to visit this paradise its beatiful! And i can tell you that i will come again with my family!

We had a very good week at the Ephesia Holiday Beach Club, we booked a family swim-up room, which meant we had a pool on the end of the terrace of our room. Not only was the room clean it had a beautiful view of the pool and beach. The part of the hotel our room was situated, seemed to be quieter than the rest of the resort, which suited us with a 10-month baby. Housekeeping ensured we had clean towels and always made the travel cot bed neat which was a sweet touch. The staff at the restaurant were very attentive and respectful, especially Umit, he went out of his way to ensure we had a great time, from providing a bowl for me to sterilise my baby's bottle, to sending thinner pillows to our room as we found the pillows too thick. He also asked us daily if we were happy and comfortable, which made us feel welcomed. The restaurant served buffet food 3 times a day. They had a hot food counter (rice, stews, curries, roasted meat, baked vegetables), salad counter ( huge variety of salads and salad dressings) a Deli counter (hummus, yogurt dips, aubergine, stuffed peppers/courgette, cold cuts of meat). They also had a stonebaked pide station, and grill station which served a different grilled meat each day. At dinner there is a huge variety of desserts too. It terms of drinks, there is a bar near all the pools, The entertainment team were very friendly and did not pester you to join in, there was live shows every evening. We happened to be at the hotel on mother's day, at breakfast they gave the ladies a red rose which was such a kind gesture. Great place to visit with family and friends. My only criticism is that we went in May which isn't season time, which meant we didn't get to experience the al carte restaurants, and a few other services. aside from that we had a brilliant holiday.

We are very satisfied with the hotel, the service, the food and everything else! Hotel is very conveniently located, right on the sea. A play paradise for children with several swimming pools. Beautiful view during breakfast and lunch. The food is delicious and plentiful. You can enjoy a wonderful sunset there. Rooms are cleaned every day. A big THANK YOU to the animation team! We will definitely come back!

the animation team were brilliant, especially barney and leo. everyone was so welcoming and they all made us feel at home. my dad, jason, especially felt like the team made him feel so included, and we’re so friendly toward him. we are all very introverted people, and this holiday bought us out

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this resort and we wouldn't return. My whole family got sick (all at different times) whilst staying here meaning we spent 3-4 days stuck in a hotel room. I can't say for definite whether it was food poisoning or lack of hygiene/cleanliness but our holiday was totally ruined. The JET2 rep did make an effort to call our room to see how each one of us was feeling and got the hotel to send plain bread and plenty of water up to us. They have a clinic on site for people unwell but that consisted of someone that doesnt speak english ringing someone for you to speak to who said about picking us up to take to a doctors somewhere else. And that it would all be done through travel insurance so make sure you have some (and check excesses!)! We didnt go with them in the end but if things got worse for our children then we would have had no choice. POOLS: Plenty of pools to choose from, some with slides suitable for various ages, they were absolutely freezing meaning our 1.5yr old didn't last very long at all. One of them is meant to be heated, but that is a lie, I rang reception and they said pool 4 (which is the entry for the adults slides) The splash park sometimes wasn't working which was a shame as that's what our youngest preferred. Also my husband spent a long time in a queue getting drinks and they were left full on a table next to our sun beds however when we returned from some time in the pool they had been tidied away by a staff member! There is also pools on the quieter side which was nice to go to, bit of a trek as the hotel covers quite a distance! (check the map attached and google maps/earth) ROOMS: Decent sized room with plenty of space, we were placed on the top floor as had a sea view (which was absolutely beautiful, especially the sunset) but it was a challenge with a buggy, there was a lift but several times when we were in it the lift stopped doors wouldn't open and it went dark, ultimately scaring our children. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and the cleaner was very helpful also when we couldnt leave the room. FOOD: Worst all inclusive we have experienced, the juices are so watery or ran out and throughout our stay only one juice machine in use meaning a long wait. Cups are unacceptably small for hot drinks, and bar staff needed to use 2 cups at a time to avoid them crumbling (take your own cups if possible, we saw others had done this). The food was very samey, we prefer themed nights. There was no pizza, toast or even a toaster, ice cream, jelly, porridge or fruit like melon available. There is show cooking being done which is hit and miss, and manned by very young people and standard very questionable at time which may have led to our illness. The dining staff are friendly, always had a smile on their face however most of them did not speak English so if you wanted anything they would call for the main guy there that does. There are stray dogs and cats roaming the restaurant

The hotel and staff were on point, we had a great time, the entertainment team were amazing, so friendly and funny. Clean and tidy everywhere and the food was good 👍 we would definitely return to this hotel in the future. It goes without saying the weather was amazing for the time of year we visited ❤️

The hotel is a good size, alot of slides for the kids and adults, there are kids areas either side of the hotel for swimming and playing with the slides and water accessories, there are 2 big adult pools, and 2 kids swimming areas. The staff are very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us, the drinks are fine as all inclusive drinks go and plenty of soft drink choices too, the WiFi can be a little hit and miss but otherwise OK, the food is nice however can be abit samey. The entertainment shows at night are fun and the day time ones are great as they try to get everyone involved, the entertainment team themselves are amazing! Big shout out to Ronnie, Leo, tweety, barney, eto, Barry, sourinho, they have all been a massive part of our experience and been so helpful and lovely to us. The rooms are a very good size and the cleaning is impeccable. The hotel is not too far either from the city centre, there is a taxi rank outside or you can get the no6 bus right outside the hotel. It takes around 10-15 mins to get there. It is a 5 minute walk to the bazaar which is at the top of the road, and there is a nice restaurant and some newsagent shops outside the hotel. There are 2 bars outside, and 1 in the lobby, and you can help yourself to coffee or tea. There is a little beach by the main adult and slide area and a water sports setup for anyone wanting to get out on the water. we have loved our stay, we have taken our 8 month old son and he has loved it and the staff have loved him. Overall its in a great area and the hotel is brilliant.
