Great place to stay! From staff to the rooms and location, love to stay here every time I need to go to Whitecourt.

The staff was very accommodating, the fact that they do not have daily housekeeping and you need to ask the front desk to have your room cleaned is a little weird. With that being said, the front desk staff is amazing.

Everything was fine except for the room that was first provided on floor 3 right across from the fan..319 I think. It was crazy noisy so we asked to be my ex. She suggested to move us to the ground floor but there was a bunch of worker men that I did t want to be around nor did I want to carry all us stuff back down. So she moved us down the hall to end of the hall. It was fine.
The only other complaint was the eggs for breakfast…they really are no good. Wish there was a real egg option like a hard boiled egg.
And I didn’t realize that we couldn’t use points or discount options at checkin as we booked through *******.

Checked in late and left early. Hotel was quiet and didn’t seem very full. Lots of parking. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and personable. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable enough, enough plug ins. No counter on bathroom sink. Liked that they served decaf coffee at breakfast. If only they had a swimming pool!!!

It was a very quick stay, late arrival and early departure. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The washroom walls were quite dirty and the light switch had something that crusted off. So that wasn't the greatest to see. The breakfast was great! I would stay again, but would give a quick inspection of the room for cleanliness.

Didnt want to refund 3 days after only being there for 1 night only. Front desk said its ok and sorted out since it was pre paid by *******. Contacted ******* about it and they issued a refund request. Microtel didnt re issue the pre paid refund by *******.
If they do try this, contact your credit card company and request a pull back.
