This hotel has the potential to be great, however, the front desk staff is what is preventing that. From my initial call on the phone to confirm my reservation, along with my check-in experience, there is a lot of room for improvement. During check-in, the employee was awkward, not friendly or welcoming. They also did not offer me any info on where the pool, gym or even the elevators were in which would lead me to my room. Instead, I had to walk around the property like a lost tourist to figure out where everything was. I realize this is not a Ritz Carlton property, however, customer service goes a long way. Another issue I had with this hotel is the fact that non-electric vehicles were parked in the parking spaces with vehicle chargers. When I brought this up to the gentleman at the front desk, he simply asked me “are they charging their car?” Ummm, as I had stated, the vehicle was not electric. Several hours later, the vehicle was still parked there. Overall, the hotel is nice because it is newer construction, however, that is the only real positive here.
