Motel One Wien-Prater

Overall, Motel One is good. Perfect value for money. So is Motel One Prater. Just a 5-minute walk from the Messe and 2 minutes from the Prater, Motel One offers comfortable, clean rooms that are well soundproofed. The bar is cozy and fine, but as in several Motel One's this same room functions as a breakfast room in the morning, which is not really comfortable and the space is too small. Hence 4 points instead of the full 5. Absolute plus point! The lovely garden at the hotel!

Very good value for money. The place is modern, well designed and clean, not to mention it’s a stone’s throw away from Prater. Beds are very comfortable, donning quality bedding, room small but functional. Same for the en suite bathroom. Breakfast surprisingly nice, with enough options for every palate. Coffee is really good. A warm thank you to the restaurant staff, and especially Vicky, who is super friendly and helpful. The only downsides I can think of is the lack of a designated parking (you can find plenty at the Prater parking garages, but quite expensive), and the lack of an in room fridge. Otherwise, an excellent choice!

We chose a hotel a little out of the city to save some money and to be honest it didn’t ruin our Vienna experience at all. This hotel is a 2min walk from an underground/subway station which connected us to the city within about 15 mins depending on the time of day. I think we would have wanted to stay closer to the city had we been in Vienna for more than 1 night. Hotel bar was open late too so we enjoyed a drink there as a night cap before a great nights sleep.

Perfect place to stay when you go to Vienna !! Just 1 min walk away from the train station, and 2min from the funfair 🚂🎢 The decoration is amazing, it doesn’t look like a 3 stars hotel but more of a 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The rooms are very confortable and clean and it’s very quiet (even if it’s close to the funfair and next to a road). 😴 The team is really nice, from the reception to the bar staff. We recommend and we will come back for sure. 💯

Beautiful n Chic boutique hotel. Very tastefully done. Staff is really helpful n warm. Few meters from the transit, 3 stops to city centre. Rooms are specious but washroom is bit small but works well. Vicky is a rockstar, she made us amazing drinks. Only thing we missed there is No restaurant in the hotel.

The hotel room was clean and the design is nice. Comfortable. The Gin bar is also a cool hangout with very tasteful decor. However, the room missed some items such a coffee machine and a water bottle. The location is very convenient for conferences at the messe congress center. 3 min on foot.

Second time in Motel One but in a different country, this time the Wien-Prater. Plus points : The location is good and whilst the room is small, there is a desk, TV, decent bathroom and hanging space for clothes. Reception are polite and helpful. Bed is super comfortable and a million giant pillows ensure a good nights sleep. Anti Bac dispensers sensibly located and checking out takes ＜1 minute. Negative Points: The dining area was under construction so breakfast was a limited service compared to the standard Motel One breakfast and there was very limited seating with low level seating in reception to try and eat some breakfast. Annoyingly this was NOT communicated at the time of booking and had I known I would have booked elsewhere like the the Hotel Wilhelmshof (which is excellent) and I only booked here due to proximity of meetings. Some doors in the corridor rooms slam and are not soft close meaning late night arrivals can be noisy This would be my second choice of hotel when staying on regular business trips in Vienna.

I went to stay there for a wedding near by and was surprised by HOW nice it was. I didn't expect the place to be that sleek and nice and loved the "aquarium" in the rooms. I regret only staying a night and not being in the best of moods when I was there. But everything was nice and apart from the very long wait for check-in, it was fab.
