What a beautiful lodge to be at for our first time at the falls. The room was absolutely stunning, spacious, beautifully decorated with the biggest, most comfortable bed! The food at the restaurant was always delicious and the service was exceptional. Nothing was too much for the staff. Sadly it was too cold to utilise the amazing pool, which was beautifully laid out with very cool loungers that sat in the pool. I wouldnt even look anywhere else!

A private little sanctuary…. Beautiful lodge in the heart of Vic Falls. Excellent location, close to restaurants and other activities. Service was excellent and rooms are clean and comfortable. Nothing was ever too much for the staff and I felt very much at home there. Definitely would stay there again!

Excellent boutique / small hotel. Was there for 2 nights. It offers tremendous value for money. The hotel rooms and grounds feel like a 4-5 star hotel. Rooms are excellent. They are very classy and very well designed. Linen and materials used are top notch. Quite a unique shower / bathtub area. Housekeeping is also great. Rooms were also VERY CLEAN. Happy to see water being placed in reusuable glass bottles. A suggestion : tea, coffee, milk powder, sugar etc can also be placed in glass jars. Will reduce plastic usage. Staff are nice. The lady who showed us our room was very kind. Breakfast and Dinner (are the meals we had) is of high quality. Hotel Grounds are very well maintained. The lookout tower is lovely. Allows you to see the Vic Falls spray. Also a great place for Sun Downers and Star Gazing in the night. The grounds are lush green and appear to be a tropical paradise. Pool is small and I guess is just for small dips. Overall, this hotel is a great place to base yourself and explore the attractions that Victoria Falls town has to offer. Highly recommended!

Had an absolute wonderful stay at Shongwe Lookout while I was in Victoria Falls. The grounds are lush and beautifully kept. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Had dinner at the restaurant one night and there was a huge selection to choose from--the meal I had was tasty, fresh, and a huge serving (so much that I couldn't eat it all!). Drinking water was available in the room and loved that they had USB charging ports in the room so that I didn't have to drag out my converter! Would be nice if they were a little closer to the main area of town, but getting transportation wasn't ever an issue.

This was my first visit to Victoria Falls. Shongwe Lookout Lodge had been recommended by others as a good place to stay, and it certainly didn't fail. My room was just the right size and very comfortable with a delicate balance of traditional style with a modern twist. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. They really ensured that my stay was a memorable and pleasant one. The reception staff assisted us in booking safaris and helicopter rides and the process was very smooth. I can really recommend a stay

The lodge was everything we expected from the stay in Africa at the Victoria Falls.
The room was spacious, clean and decorated to make you feel you were in Africa.
The breakfast, lounge, and pool ambiance, coupled with very efficient service, makes this an excellent choice when staying at the Victoria Falls

This hotel is a hidden gem - loved the room and the gardens, the pool and the restaurant area! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel ! Loved it ! The food at the restaurant was go good that you don’t have to go anywhere else! The staff were wonderful and room was spacious, nice and clean !
