We stayed here en route to Portugal Roxanne our host was great as was the beautiful accommodation Such a comfy bed. Very large room and use of kitchen for drinks and a lovely patio and garden Very good breakfast plentiful and tasty It was so good we stayed on our way back to the UK Thank you Roxanne

Now under new ownership, Roxann is transforming this beautiful boutique bnb. From the minute you arrive to the hospitable greeting to the extensive continental breakfasts, everything was perfect.

We understand that it’s only recently that Roxann has taken over Les Bruyeres but you would think she’d run it for years! A friendly welcome on arrival, a typical but clean and tidy Gite, comfortable bed, great shower with plenty of hot water, nice breakfast, what’s bit to like? Well worth the money!

We stayed here one night as we were travelling to Spain and had a fantastic experience.
Due to massive delays on the Dover/Calais ferry, we were unable to arrive on the day we had planned and when we contacted the property, they were very accommodating and allowed us to move the booking by a day at short notice.
On arrival, we met the friendly owner Ludovic and his daughter.
The property is beautifully located next to a river and was spotlessly clean. The decoration is beautiful and we stayed in the very large Oslo room. There is a shared kitchen/dining room and in the morning a delicious breakfast had been set for us.
There were games in the house which my children loved.
In the morning we went for a walk through the beautiful village and enjoyed fantastic views of the castle, church and river.
We were sorry we only stayed one night and would love to return.

After travelling for 10 hours and sleeping in the car the previous night what an absolute delight to come across this beautiful guest house the comfort & decor top class it was certainly the most fantastic welcome on our 1st evening in our new adventure living in France!!!!! Thankyou

This was my second stay at this beautiful and well appointed location.
The staff are helpful, friendly and attentive. The breakfast is delicious and the surroundings are beautiful.
Highly recommended.
