We stayed at Palazzo Venart 9 months ago and still can’t stop thinking about this properly and the impeccable service the hotel staff provide. We arranged a private boat pickup at the train station and upon arrival were greeted by multiple staff, given a full overview and tour of the property and surrounding areas, then escorted to a one-of-a-kind suite. We scheduled dinner reservation at the on-site Michelin star GLAM restaurant and when we alerted the hotel staff we wanted to experience a sunset gondola ride first (we only had one night in Venice), they immediately arranged one and provided us a flexible dinner reservation start time to ensure we could make the most of our early evening. The dinner experience that followed was nothing short of incredible and one of the best and most unique meals I’ve had to date. The breakfast the following morning was also fantastic in the beautiful gardens. Throughout our 1.5 day stay, we were consistently greeted by name and asked genuinely by each staff member how they could help us make the most of our time in Venice. We cannot wait to return someday.

This is, without exaggeration, the finest hotel I have ever stayed at in over 40 years as an international traveler. Its setting, its architecture, its decor, its facilities, its operations, and its staff are all impeccable. These people understand the true art of hospitality. I had my wedding and honeymoon there, and they handled everything, including unforeseen disruptions, with perfect grace and efficiency. 10/10.

We have had the good fortune to travel quite a bit and to stay in some very special resorts and hotels. Palazzo Venart is perhaps the finest guest experience we have ever had. The location and facilities are amazing, beautiful and impeccably kept, but what sets PV apart is the service. It was so nice to be greeted by the General Manager when we arrived. All the staff members took a special interest in us, and enthusiastically responded to each request with care. We should mention that Alessandro served us in a variety of roles. He served food and seemed to show up everywhere to handle our every whim. He is spectacular as was the wait staff at breakfast. Everyone at the front desk treated us with incredible, gracious hospitality and care, and Lisa greeted us upon our arrival and made us feel like family. From the exquisitely appointed rooms to the amazingly delicious cherries and apricots in the room, our total experience at Palazzo Venart was one we will always remember. Thank you for creating a wonderful travel experience.

Wow this hotel was possibly the best we’ve ever stayed in - the staff were so professional, friendly and polite. The location was superb for everything including water front taxis. Glam was an experience not to be missed. If you are considering this hotel or a trip to magical Venice … just do it!

My room was tiny, but it had a small terrace and was comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the canal view and dock was nice.

This is a beautiful hotel. It’s truly a unique experience to spend time in a Palazzo! The people are wonderful and pay attention to you and anticipate what you may need. The manager is always visible, checking to see how her guests are and if everything is in order. You can tell she and her team take great pride in this beautiful property. An absolutely wonderful experience for my first time in Venice. Won’t be the last.

This Old World Luxury Hotel in a quiet neighborhood made for the perfect stay in Venice. If I could rate this higher than 5 stars, I would. The staff was amazing: at check in we were seated outside in a beautiful garden overlooking the grand canal, given fresh lemon water as the reception desk checked us in. The hotel manager Luana Mazzega came over to welcome us and let us know she was available if we needed anything. The room was spacious and had adequate plugs for all our devices and phones. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable with lovely linens. The bathroom had a bathtub with an excellent shower: lots of water pressure and plenty of hot water which is not always the case in some hotels. It was sparkling clean with luxurious towels. The provided toiletries were first class. Breakfast was served inside or outside on a lovely patio. The menu was broad with anything you could want. Excellent coffee, pastries and food selection. The service was impeccable. We sere served in a timely manner, with great attention to our needs. The waitstaff were friendly and so polite. The hotel has a water taxi right on the canal as well as it is very close to the public water bus which we used without any issue. Several excellent restaurants near by and the hotel has a 2 star Michelin restaurant on the grounds. Every night our room was prepared with fresh bottled water, slippers and a treat of chocolate or candies. Just an extra special touch in this quaint, classic and amazing hotel. We spent every evening just sitting in the garden, looking at the boats go by. It was such a relaxing atmosphere after a busy day of sight seeing. Our stay was absolutely wonderful and I really cannot find the words to describe just how peaceful and beautiful this hotel is and how exceptional the service was there.

Beautiful hotel, room was charming and we had a rooftop patio with views of Venice. The staff was so helpful, especially Lisa, getting us dinner reservations and helping us when we were lost in Venice! I can’t wait to return to Venice and to this lovely hotel!

We have had such a wonderful stay in the amazing hands of the brilliant and attentive staff at this beautiful hotel! The hotel resides slightly off the beaten track but for us this was exactly what we wanted!! The walk to all the main attractions was not too far at all and meant that we got to absorb all of Venice and not just the main attractions which really did make our stay even more memorable and interesting!! In fact we breathed a huge sigh of relief when we ventured back to the hotel as it was a welcome relief to be back in this beautifully calm and peaceful environment!! The care and attention we received throughout our four day stay was outstanding and in particular we were so welcomed and cared for by the wonderful Luana, Giacamo, Flavia and Lorenzo all of whom did everything they could to make our stay as flawless as possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the service we received was absolutely impeccable (and so effortless too!) We had a beautiful room with a stunning canal view and plenty of room to spread ourselves out in with a beautifully equipped bathroom equipped with gorgeous Etro toiletries and a fabulous Dyson hairdryer (if you know you know!) Thank you to everyone who looked after us!! We highly recommend you look no further and certainly much better value than The Danielli and the like!!

What an incredible experience we had at the Palazzo Venart! The hotel was magical and the staff were as kind and helpful as can be. To start, we arrived at night via the water bus ("Vaporetto") from the Venice Airport. It was a pleasant ride but nearly pitch black. On arriving at the stop for the hotel (San Stae), the streets were dark and dead quiet with a large old church fronting the Vaporetto stop. It is not an area overrun by tourists or with nearby businesses open late. Like stepping back in time to a quieter time. A brief walk (2 minutes max) from the water taxi, because there are no cars on the island of Venice, and the hotel appeared in a narrow walkway (Calle Tron) out of a fairy tale behind a courtyard and large classic wrought iron gate with the modern touch of a call system with camera. When the door opened, we got the first taste of the staff, Hamid, who retrieved our bags with alacrity and a smile and friendly look on his face as if to say, "of course we are taking your bags!" On entering the hotel, Mihaela greeted us so warmly and began explaining our stay and amenities to us, offering a few suggestions for Venice, and in general giving us the feeling that only a boutique luxury hotel with great staff can offer. Our room was several floors up, very well appointed and very quiet. For a good part of our early spring stay, rain added to the magic of Venice both from our room and from its stone streets. Amazing. Our breakfasts were incredible. First, the serving staff are lovely. We received outstanding service on all of our days from Alessandro, and Andrei was wonderful as well. I neglected to get another gentleman's name, but he was very good to us as well! The food was amazing. Except for one small room service, we only had breakfast. But it was all exquisitely prepared. The hotel also boasts a Michelin 2-star restaurant...the only one in Venice!! You have your breakfast in the same space overlooking an internal garden. When enjoying their perfect eggs, delicate fruit cut as if by a laser, the best cappuccinos we had in a 9-day Italy trip, fresh local fruit juices, and other delights such as Easter Colomba bread, you could tell that the meals were prepared by people who cared and were experts at their craft. We thanked the chef for his artistry and leadership once, and he responded with such an unexpected show of gratitude and appreciation for the praise...we could see how much food means to him. On the second day of our stay, Luana, the general manager greeted us so warmly by name and inquired about our stay. We saw her multiple times throughout our stay, always asking us how it was going and with a beaming smile. She has every reason to smile given the beautiful and accommodating operation she runs so well! Giacomo was an outstanding concierge! He made sure we got into St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace, obtained an amazing last-minute private tour of Venice for us at a reasonable price, and helped us obtain outstandin

Great hotel, great people. Very nice and clean room. Very close to the canal in a quiet space, this hotel is perfect for a great week end in Venezia. Breakfast à la carte is very good and included. The excursion they propose are amazing too. definitely a place to go.
