Ca Barba

The B&B is located in a lovely, quaint neighbourhood, not too far from the Rialto bridge. We loved crossing through the market each morning-- so vibrant and authentic! Alessandro was a very friendly and communicative host. He met us at our vaporetto stop, escorted us to the B&B (and even helped with luggage!), and gave us the full run down on 'all things Venice'. In room coffee and breakfast snacks (nuts, pancakes, fruit, biscuits, etc.) were augmented with delivery of fresh pastries left at our door each morning. Snacks such as yogurt & water were also available in the main kitchen. The rooms were spotless and the beds were super comfortable! Very pleased!

Perfect location, great value and attentive host. Close to everything but not in the craziness of San Marco. Quiet and a real neighbourhood feel. Would definitely stay here again. Allesandro and the rest of the gang were so welcoming and really made you feel cared for.

Alessandro is usually the first person I check with once I've purchased a ticket to Venice, as Ca'Barba is the perfect balance of value, service, and location in Venice. I have come here regularly since 2015. The B&B has four bedrooms, each beautifully outfitted and several if not all with jacuzzi in the bathroom--a great luxury for Venice, especially for this price point. You enter the B&B through its kitchen area, where you can use the refrigerator to store snacks. In your room you'll find a Nespresso machine. Since the pandemic, the B&B usually leaves a continental breakfast of fruit and pastries outside your door for you to eat at your leisure. Located around the corner from the Rialto Mercato, the B&B makes for an excellent base. From the airport take the Alilaguna Orange Line to San Stae. Alessandro and his sister Caterina maintain a high level of service; they provide plenty of information prior to check-in and spend time reviewing a map of the city with you and making recommendations. They or someone on the staff will meet you at the vaporetto stop upon your arrival in the city, to make sure that you arrive easily.

My wife and I visited for a long weekend for her birthday and both Ca’Barba and the host Allessandro were brilliant. We had to check in quite late but were looked after superbly. Allessandro also kindly organised a birthday bouquet which was a lovely surprise for my wife. The location was perfect for exploring, close to the main sites but still quiet at night. Allessandro answered all our questions quickly and helpfully and was very knowledgeable. Our room was clean and spacious and the jacuzzi bath was a great added extra for sore feet at the end of each day. Would highly recommend.

Non mi è piaciuto affatto. Purtroppo la camera era sporca, come la biancheria da letto e da bagno. c'erano delle macchioline si sangue e sotto il letto era pieno di polvere. alcun telefono in camera e nessun tipo di servizio. Per il prezzo speso mi aspettavo davvero di più!

Il soggiorno nella camera di questo B&B è stato fantastico. Tutto molto pulito, attinente alle foto fornite. Alessandro è stato a completa disposizione, dandoci anche preziosi consigli riguardo la città e quando visitare le varie attrazioni negli orari migliori. La colazione era eccellente, ricca e con buoni prodotti. Anche il bagno era dotato di tutti i comfort. La posizione è ottima per raggiungere qualsiasi cosa.

Il est un bon adresse - mais je n'ai pas beaucoup aimé ce B&B. Cela ne correspond pas à mon goût, peut-être parce que c'était trop simple, peut-être parce que ce n'était pas si propre, peut-être parce que ce n'était pas un meuble si raffiné. nos vacances à Venise étaient agréables mais avec un meilleur hébergement, cela aurait été mieux. Désolé vraiment désolé

Ich empfehle Ca`Barba, weil kein Wunsch offen blieb. Sauberkeit und Ausstattung so, dass man gerne ins Zimmer zurückkehrt. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, gab perfekte Tipps, Kaffemaschine und Frühstückskorb sehr gut. Zentrale Lage, man kommt überall zu Fuß hin, Wasserbusstation 3 Minuten entfernt.
