This is one of the best stays in terms of hospitality, location and food. The highlight for me is people - they are extremely warm and hospitable. Highly recommend this place. One more highlight is the music show they organised in the evening.

Overall very good experience. Located in the ghat. Peaceful. Room, food and service are excellent. Boat rides and temple visit assistance guides can be booked on site. Brahma Kumar and Hassan were very helpful in assisting throughout our stay.

With temperatures of 40 degrees, the hotel turned out to be a true oasis. Excellent attention from all the staff, from the reception with Mr. Hassan to the vegetarian restaurant, attended by Mr. Brijesh gave us the best dishes from the extensive local menu. Impeccable cleanliness, comfortable beds, with direct access to the Ganges and a terrace to practice yoga. at night. Live music in the central garden.

This is a great place positioned on the Ghatts but a few minutes walk from the very busy area. It was a quiet time when we stayed but the staff could not have been more welcoming and were even happy to prepare dishes to our request- may not possible when busy. We had a river facing room which was very comfortable and was cleaned sometimes twice a day. Nice rooftop terrace to drink tea and watch the world go by far below. Highly recommend.

This is excellent property. Our entire Varanasi trip was made easier because of this centrally located heritage stay. The staff of this place is absolutely fantastic. From cooking custom meals for our 2 year old to arranging commute within the city was top notch. If you are going to Varanasi stay nowhere else but this location. Beautiful window views and excellent in house boat tour of Ganga Ji is just amazing. 5/5

Stay away from this hotel. I reserved 2 rooms in March 2024 for a stay in April. I paid a deposit for half of the total amount on my credit card. About a week later, I cancelled and they agreed to refund me the whole amount but they asked for my bank details to do this. I asked them why they couldn't just refund my credit card, as that was the original payment method. They gave no reason and just said they would refund my bank. It has been almost 2 months and I have received no refund. I have sent about 20 emails to them and they just say that they sent the money. So I've now asked my credit card company to investigate. This hotel and company behind it is not professional and I would stay away.

The Amritara Suryauday Haveli is right on Gangaji. The rooms on the second floor facing the river are great. Our room was 206 and for the overnight stay was perfectly appoinnted. Do ask on checkin if you can get a Ganges view room. Suffice to say you only realistically need to sleep in Varanasi - well unless it is TOO hot. The waiting staff in the restaurant were attentive and there was more than adequate food selection - both Vegetarian and Western.

The food is the best. Vikas and Sandeep did a very good job. And location is superb as it's on ghat and morning trip on boat was amazing.

The vibe of this hotel is so amazing that you feel at home and at peace. The hotel staff was really helpful and helped us even for kasi ***dir darsan tickets. They tried their best to make us feel at home. We went on boat rides in the evening arranged by the hotel itself for ganga aarti. The breakfast was indian and really tasty. Jyotikisan and vikas really helped us with the daily breakfast needs and made our stay even more special. The ganga ghat is really close to the hotel and it was amazing to see it from our room as we took the river view room. Overall an amazing stay
