Budget Inn Valparaiso/Niceville @ Eglin AFB & Destin-Fwb Airport

Couldn't turn the TV on and didn't have Wi-Fi password. Very nice place, but these issues need to be looked into.

So many problems with this place. Location - it is located on a busy street so it was VERY noisy. There was a huge gap around all edges of the door when it was closed - including at least 3/4 of an inch on the bottom. I'm sure they have a rodent problem as the bottom of the TV stand/dresser had a big whole that looked like it had been chewed up. The walls were paper thin so you could hear everything around you. There was no mirror in the bathroom - not sure how a man would shave here. The bed was hard as a rock and there wasn't a blanket - just a sheet and a cover that was also the weight of a sheet. The TV was terrible - small and the reception was so bad that the picture was constantly pixelated. The exterior of the property is in need of many repairs, the property name lights are partially burned out, the paint is peeling and there is cracked concrete everywhere. Don't stay here unless your only concern is price. Even then, there are better options.

The staff was great and accomodating. I was here solo on business. After a long day of flying, this was a clean, comfortable enjoyable relaxing stay.

It was sketchy. Limited parking. Not in a very good area. Smelled wet in the room. See why there is no pics of the outside. Onto the rooms. Outlets didn’t work. Fridge not cold.

This place was amazing , would definitely get another night here in the future. Friendly service and cleanliness was spot on.

There was a pair of dirty socks under the bed. There was also stains on the bedding.

Although the exterior has nothing to write home about, the room was a lovely surprise- they must have renovated recently!

Nice clean newly renovated room, however the road noise was constant all night, and interrupted my sleep numerous times.

Staff was cordial. Room was in like new condition. Outside appearance was like a slum. This place is under renovation and not ready for prime time! (They charged me a $75 damage/security deposit which has yet to be credited to my card.)
